This was really good. Alm’s suffering was actually sad (Which lacked in Awk -mostly-) and the story was much better compared to Awakening. I like the fact that Alm and Celica’s paths crossed despite going completely different ways and in the end they ended up together. They definetly make an amazing pair.

I don't remember if Alm learns this point; but when he says, "why teach me to wield a sword when you're not going to let me use it?" the entire point of learning to use a weapon is to hope you'll never have to use it. I know this is the Internet, and anyone can be anything, but as a Marine who has thought of, multiple times, is thinking of, and has used, a weapon on myself, life lesson: never draw ANYTHING without intent. I don't care if it's a paring knife, unless you need it, don't draw it.

I hope this story is better than awakening’s and since I’ve already been spoiled (although not even compareable to the awakening spoilers I got before “watching” it) this looks like a game that can actually kill charecters (unlike Awakening where everyone just goes “Oh Grima is back, let me come back to life thanks to timetravel or something else”)

Honestly, wallhart was it from awakening? For a person from Alm’s lineage, it’s a shame he couldn’t live up to the greatness of Alm, but at the least had Rudolf’s guts and represented Duma’s might well. (Even worse when that parts writing became terrible)

Zero V Yeah it’s been confirmed, the only upside is that it’s unlikely that Walhart’s the last of his bloodline. Much like Alm’s beginnings, the other undiscovered ones are probably living simpler lives. It has been 2000 years after all.
