I so loved this! True there aren’t many Yt videos on this topic so was happy when I came across this video! I have been a fire wife for almost 5 years and you hit the nail right on the head. My husband has the same work schedule although we are blessed to not have mandatories. While there are some hard things about this lifestyle, the perks definitely outweigh the cons! Something that can help is by joining a fire wives/spouses group online. It’s a great way to seek advice, support , or just vent. I was super nervous when he first joined the department but I can’t imagine my life any different now❤
