@@Tatman1212Back in the day we ate off those Roach🪳Coaches. Used to feel sorry for the lone employee working them. People used to steal cigarettes and food as they didn’t use cameras back then. Always wondered if he or she was held accountable for inventory.

I got no need for a dually! I’m always looking for trucks and when I noticed it’s a dually I’m bummed!! They serve their purpose, but it’s a purpose I have no use for. I don’t need the two extra tires to have to maintain and they charge you more for tolls! I can relate to some of these stories working with my friend when I was young! He would bring me on jobs. I didn’t have the best relationship with my dad, but I have nothing but fond memories of my grandfather. My mom’s dad. I was fortunate to have him until I was 30.

Hi Tim. I’m watching your fireside chat on Sunday morning. I got myself tied up in a movie last night and couldn’t stay up long enough 😂. Like many of your subscribers commented, this was one of my favorite evening chats. You have done in quite a while. I love the story about you and your stepfather. I had a similar situation of my stepfather did not come into my life until I was a junior in high school. I was pretty independent with my friends at that point so I missed that nice window of that you spoke of with your stepfather. Amazingly, my stepfather’s name was also Charles and like you, he treated me like I was his own flesh and blood. When he married my mother, he inherited four kids with the deal. And also like you said, I had a better relationship with him than I ever did with my own father. Step parents can be one of the greatest gifts. I have done quite a bit of tile work in my life, though not a professional tile setter like your stepfather. I love your description of what it was like back in the day. Your stepfather was a true artist and craftsman and the word professional was an understatement. It is a lot different these days because the products I have changed, and in my opinion, more tile work fails than it used to back in the day of your stepfather. They even have some peel and stick tile that you can put on walls today. You know that’s not gonna last forever. I can tell by your description how much you’ve loved Charles. It warms my heart and makes me reminisce about my earlier life. You crushed it tonight, Tim.

Just watched the S&W video and it motivated me to take a trip to the local gun store. Not being a gun owner or any experience with a firearm. I was surprised at how comfortable I was with holding it and decided to order one. Salesman said that all of sudden he got more orders for that particular firearm and didn't exactly say how long it would be before mine would be shipped.

The white bread with bologna with mayonnaise and warm. OMG, worst experience ever. It was at a daycare like 1979 maybe, we were served the sandwiches with warm milk and watching the Price is Right, I'll never forget. I was so sick not long after, I assume food poisoning. Never went back to that daycare, never will eat those sandwiches either 🤢🤮🤣

Hey Tim had to chive in again what a fantastic story about your Dad. He sounds like a great man that took care of you and your family. My step Dad also raised us like his own. He had a painting company and also had three restaurants. He was a hard worker and showed me and my brother and sister the values of life and hard work. I do remember the wax paper with a Bologna sandwich and watching the roach truck coming in the the horn blasting man what great memories tonight running through my head. Oh my gosh, I use to use wax paper to wrap my husband's sandwiches and his boss would say wax paper, my grandma used it. My husband loved the wax paper because it became his plate to put his chips on that I would pack for him. Yes, my husband work in the trades and so any home improvements we did at our home I was the grunt runner, help with feeding the wire through the conduit. He was an electrician but we did it all at our home. I can't say enough how this reminded me of my husband and how would tell stories. Yes, I know what a roach coach is but he would eat the lunches I packed for him. Thank you for the stories and it brought back memories for me and how my husband would tell his stories You had a great step dad!❤
