Did you try rain mode? I know it knocks off full power but any difference in handling characteristics?

Funnily enough I did. Owned the bike nearly 4 years and it’s the only mode I’ve never bothered with until that night. All it did really was restrict throttle response and a little slower on the power delivery.

I finally bit the bullet after wanting a KTM (but put off time and time again)and i pick up my 1st SD evo next week so info is everything. Low milage at 1130 miles on a 22 plate.

I've enjoyed the footage you've put up....especially the oberon one as I know it's a weak point on them. After I rode a friends SD I was smitten with it. Easy to listen to the nay sayers (I did) but I'm really chuffed I've finally done it.

Amazing mate, thanks for watching. The gen 3 gets a bit of stick but like most things you only ever hear the bad things. The only issue I’ve had was getting caught in torrential rain and the power on switch cube shat itself. Had it replaced under warranty. You’ll have a constant grin mate. Enjoy 😁
