While I understand that looking at a person's policies are important, saying it's silly to acknowledge the history is easy to say, especially when you're of the generation that didn't see the hard fought bloody struggle that past generations fought just for the idea of a black president to not be thought of as ludicrous. I would also argue that voting is a right not a privilege. A right granted to over a hundred and sixty countries around the world. I know America tends to think everything good in the world is unique to them. But yall aren't that unique.
