What a clean ‘06, I don’t particularly like red cars but with the black accents and stance the car looks and sounds great! Don’t want to say anything negative about the driver, he was having fun and took it well, but is advisable to leave the Trac Off button alone until you get an idea how the mods may have shifted, or added, the power delivery. I’ll never forget the experience of exiting a sweeper nearing the top of 3rd gear in my ‘03 Mach 1 and having the dash loss of traction light start blinking at me. Exited clean and all was well. I’ve had my ‘03 Mach 1 since Dec of ‘03 and at the beginning of last year I had 5,300 original miles. Following a serious injury I realized that we can’t take anything with as when we go (or rather that concept came into focus) and I promptly sold my commuter car and have been daily driving the Mach 1 since and loving every minute of it. I just wished I pressed it into action a bit earlier. The experience of driving a 21 year old car, that is extremely low mileage and like new, is (at least to me) a wonderful experience! The N/A 4v sounds amazing even with the stock pipes. I was always going to keep the stock, and am pleased that I have. While the Mach 1 is well suspended from the factory, and it steps out incredibly predictably with traction off, I still leave mine on for the majority of my driving.
