I was born in Pandan, Antique, my dearest province but grew up in Taguig. My lola is from Carabao Island, the island near Boracay but part of Romblon. I have been to the island when it was not a tourist spot yet. Then it became the best beach in the world and so many tourist flocked the island and was desecrated . . . to me. Now, because of the rehabilitation and the pandemic, Boracay is restored to its pristine glory. God really works in mysterious ways. Enjoy it to the fullest!!!

I was there in 1988 when we only paid P100 for a boat tour around the island. In some ways I would prefer it to be just like in 1988.....beautiful, pristine, lots of greenery, very natural. I’m amazed how built up it is now. ...🙏 people look after the place and no more building construction. I’m with you on beautiful sunset😍

Finally! I have been waiting for you to go visit Panay specifically Boracay. Then if you have not visited Guimaras and Concepcion while there just do it! Kalibo-Roxas for seafood -Concepcion - Guimaras! That would be a great way to travel Panay or try going to Antique too. Stay safe and love to see the two of you having fun!

Try to explore the mainland for a day, Malay has so much to offer, the nature in Nabaoy and white beaches in Buruanga, the nearby town. There is also an island close by a little vesion of Boracay.
