This was really helpful, Thor. Glad to see I’m not too hear off. One tiny side note…I’m not saying aspartame will harm you at all, but aspartame, Malodextrin, and dextrose (all the processed sugars) made me *incredibly* ill for years without any clue. It was awful. 😔 I’m just sharing in case someone hasn’t thought about that as a cause for GI issues. 🙂I was sooo glad to solve that. Thx again!

Great content! Keep it up! On my “cheat day” I also prefer to make my own food. My current favorite homemade cheat meal is a burger with lean turkey and roasted potatoes. Tastes so good, if not better than eating out! Plus, I always feel less bloated the next day 😅👍🏻

The gym is looking great! Thanks for taking us shopping with you. It's strange how that treat meal changes from eating out to wanting to make it yourself and still control all the elements of making it cleaner as you progress along in your fitness and health journey. I'm totally there too, I'd rather make myself a really delicious meal then have to go somewhere but for me it's because of the amount of sodium restaurants use to make their foods, it makes me literally sick sometimes and I feel like the point of that treat meal is to enjoy it, not writhe around in pain and bloat hours later 🤢 Cinnamon toast crunch is always perfect though LOL

I appreciate you so much!! I agree so much with that perspective on eating out

It's amusing to me that you also like cereal for your re-feed days. My go-to is Honeycomb.

This was fun, nutrition is my favorite part of health and fitness. I’m guilty of having way to many cheat meals. I feel like I deserve it after a hard day in the gym. Hopefully I can start doing better with my macros, now that I have new tips ☺️

I've stopped eating fast food of all kinds. Stopped eating fried chicken. I've been eating every meal at home. I still eat some no salt potato chips. But I'm losing my appetite for them too. Eating more lentils and rice.

You should give Walmart Great Value sugarfree "Sweet Tea" a try. Biggest game changer ever for this iced tea fiend! 10 packets per box, $2.24. Nothing tastes as good as this stuff! Helped get me down from 340 to 195. Got 20 more to go and it's difficult to say the least... Boil 1/2 cup water. Pour in 3 packets and stir. Add 1/2 cup cold water to it and stir. Pour it in a 40 oz stainless steel insulated bottle. Add 2.5 cups of ice cold water. Fill to top with ice cubes. Stir, cap, insert straw and enjoy noshing on it all day long. I go through 2 of these every 24 hours. Got me off of soda.

You are a very handsome man. I would love to see what you eat on a regular day. I am very surprised by your choices here. I must have misheard you speaking about whole food. Years ago, a family member had a heart attack at 42. Even at that time, the doctor said they are discovering that the body needs more cholesterol than we thought. He still cleaned all the cholesterol out that he could and put him on the regular regimen of meds. Now he has many other problems that are from those meds, even though he stopped taking them years ago. His heart attack was from a over the counter pain med taken for headaches. The man-made trash we put in our bodies will catch up with us! Also consider that we need more collagen than we get with a lean diet. Alot of us use a product we purchase that is man-made. We could get that naturally by cooking meat with the bones, just like grandma and grandpa did.

Hey! Thank you for your video! I love all of the info in this! Have you tried the sugar free Schweppes blood orange sparkling soda?! It’s a great option for the late afternoon sugar craving. The sugar free grapefruit soda and ginger ale are also delicious and none of them have that sugary chemical taste :)

What's your view on sugar-free soda being a walk on the edge for many people in the sense that we could entice our brains back onto the sugar road by not "truly" moving away from it?

I can! Just not always lean enough! Sometimes I’m better off with less of the cholesterol. But yeah! And venison and elk are still a frequent option!
