The reason the powder before foundation doesn't work might be if you have normal to dry skin, i have dry skin and it doesn't work for me either because of that. Ps: Love your videos, you should do a "Boyfriends tries to guess makeup prices", you guys are cute 😊

I like the sacha buttercup but my only problem with it is that it's yellow. My under eye clearly has a yellow tint to it which is why it looks so amazing, but i prefer the regular Laura Mercier powder. It brightens without leaving a tint.

Nyma, please do a video explaining undertones of deeper skin tones, concealers and contour colours! I don't want my clients looking ashy! I find it hard to know which colours to you use, how light to go ect. They don't go into much detail about every skin tone in college, which is shit! I want to feel confident in my makeup on every skin tone. Would really really appreciate it! Love your videos. You are stunning! ❤️ xx

You are absolutely beautiful! I bought the buttercup PRESSED powder compact. Baking did not go well for me. Saying I looked a hot mess is an insult to mess. But I heard the pressed powder is different than the loose buttercup. Supposedly, the pressed powder is supposed to be a bit lighter than the loose. If there is an appreciable difference, I may give the loose a try. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Also, I got the regular matte powder (Perfect Copper) in loose and pressed and really, really, REALLY like it. Great at reducing shine. Not sure about using it for baking though. I tried it and it looked fine to me, but I'm not a fashionista by any stretch of the imagination. Is it a requirement that setting powder be so much lighter than your skin? Yes, I'm clueless.
