Pretty cool when the CEO of your company is out there giving his opinion of a major component of his bicycle! Nice insights into the performance and feel of the updated Bosch motor. Wish I could test ride a Pole bike in the US!

Hey Leo. That bike looks like it fits you perfectly. The rise on the bars great in proportion to the position on the bike. The balance point for riding wheelies looks amazing and your body position on the bike looks very neutral and comfortable. It looks exactly how I like my bike to feel. Could you tell me how tall you are and what size frame your riding and also the rise on those bars? I’m 47 years old and have been riding bikes my whole life but have never been on an ebike. Yours will be my first. No other ebike even interests me.

Hi! I'm 179cm and I ride the K2 with 50mm riser bars. I like these Title bars because they are high quality and have EFBE test certification. I like a bit higher stand on the bike as well.

@@leokokkonen275 Thank you for getting back with me. I listened to the podcast this winter that you did with Levy. It was nice to hear you talk about riding the different sizes of your bikes and how they feel. I’m between 179 and 180 cm as well and I think the k2 will be perfect for me as I like a short top tube when I’m seated to keep the pressure off of my bum wrists and I try to hit every fun option I can find on the way back down. It’s nice to hear your preference on bar rise, I’ve been wanting to put taller bars on all of my bikes lately. I read in the comments from your podcast someone mentioned a Pole factory in Washington state. As a Washington state resident myself, I think that would be awesome. The Voima is still the only ebike I would consider riding. I hope to pull the trigger on one this year.

​@@drujenssen5444 Certainly, the taller bars are an excellent choice to alleviate the weight off the wrists. At present, our factory is exclusively located in Finland. However, as our company expands, there may be an opportunity to establish a factory in the United States.

Leo, have you tried running a Rohloff Speedhub gearbox hub on Voima? They seem to be pairable with Bosh motors/batteries.

I tested a hub on Bosch ride camp with another bike just on a carpark but I can't really comment other than it didn't shift under load and I was worried that it would break.

What size axs dropper you have on what size frame Leo?

you can pick any option but they have a guide on their website (in geometry section) how to pick the correct length for your inseam, check it out

I'm a bigger 100kg 190cm rider so I ride lower assistant settings on big rides to get enough range to climb 1300m. Ofc this depends on the battery capacity so with this bump up in power will they bump up the battery Ah but keep it the same dimensions and weight?

I foresee a lot of snapped chains also if beginners use it and in the wrong gear

That much overrun is not natural . it acts almost like a throttle for a few seconds . if you are n race mode on a steep trail and an obstacle comes and you need to slow down . this sounds dangerous to me . i prefer the third gen. cx . it's tunable with a simple external box tuner and the over run is minimal . my favorite motor is the Sachs rs that comes on my Nox trail bike . 112 nm at low cadence . it destroys the bosch on steep hills .

Bosch is the most reliable motor period, and there is always a bigger motor but it's also heavier.

the sachs rs weighs only half a kilo more than the bosch CX so for my style of riding , not an issue . Bosch as you say Is the reliability champ and they have a huge service network here in Germany. i have a bosch cx and the sachs . the sachs is my fav for smooth natural raw power on hills . However i like the bosch a little better,on a flat surface .
