First Lap Crash!

Halfway into my first lap of a 9 hour race at Road America, I nearly got tangled up in a completely unnecessary crash! Escaped by the skin of my teeth!

For some reason it feels unnatural for me keep putting my right hand back on the wheel when I am racing a car that doesn’t have a lot of tension in the wheel. 🙄

Yes, try to train yourself to move your hand to the shifter only when you need to shift.

Absolutely! Nothing worse than getting taken out in the first lap of an endurance race!
