It’s dissing the record label. Their songs shot up the billboard charts like a bullet. Record company tried to control what was released as a single. Ronnie disagreed. Definitely can skate to it. I did!!

"On the Hunt" a track off the 'Nuthin' Fancy' album released back in 1975 by Lynyrd Skynyrd is also smokin' hot. Drummer Artimus Pyle kicks ass on the drums with this song as well. The bassline sinks deep down in your soul.💫🎤🎸🥁🔊🔥🎧☮

This song kicks ass still to this day and Lynyrd Skynyrd is still the GOAT Southern Rock group ever to exist in the USA. Another Legendary Jam from a band we all miss still to this day.

Dang, now I want to hear the omitted part of the comments that led to the Gimme Three Steps suggestion. Which, by the way is a fantastic suggestion. But they've got so many mind-blowing things that are all different. But they always still sound like Lynyrd Skynyrd. I can't remember if you've already reacted to Tuesday's Gone, but it was a huge hit for them, and also it's just one of those absolutely beautiful ballads that is so heartfelt, and it's so well done and so involved that it's iconic.

Ronnie, singer... Steve and Cathy Gaines, new guitar player and backup singer that was brother and sister..... They were in the band that died.... But the two pilots and I thing a tour manager also died..... The rest of the band lived, but they had messed up injuries...... Except the drummer that ran a mile through the swamp to get help.

A song is for the listener's interpretation, it's what it does for you, I hear all these he said, she said, I don't care what anybody else says, not even the writer of the song, it can mean to you whatever you want, don't push it on me, that's what makes music so great.

I am so happy to see this music live on. I was a total Skynyrd head back in the day. I was at Oakland 40 feet from the stage and so crushed after the accident. Keep listening. Not sure what you have listened to so far, but thinking you might like Saturday Night Special, Swamp Music, Call Me the Breeze, I know a Little, Don't Ask me No Questions, and I could go on! Thanks for the reaction!

The “bullets” are a metaphor that a music billboard magazine gave the top 10 songs of the week. The higher the bullets given, the higher the song was ranked. They had a song that was falling off the billboard charts, or they lost some “bullets.”
