I bought my PSA Rock with a range bag, optic cut and 10 steel 23 round mags for $459. My favorite gun with close to 1000 rounds and zero issues. I'm waiting for the PSA Rock 5.7 Compact to be released. And I believe the PSA Rock actually was released before the M&P.

Many folks paid 299 for PSA's 5.7 recently. But if I was in market for a 5.7 I might go with the Tisas Joe.

The difference is that the PSA is usually on sale as a way to sell them fast instead of just selling them on their own merit. And the iffy QC is always a problem. I bought the RK1 threade barrel tip ready one for 360. But I still think I trust the tisas more

If Taurus and Tisas(on certain guns)can give you 2 mags,I don’t get why other companies can’t put 3(a good number to start with) in the box,but I get companies have to make money,the one mag is just frustrating especially on guns that have a rare or expensive mag.

Looks better than all the other 5.7 models. I've been considering a 5.7 and might go with Tisas. I like the sight set up and have no plans for an optic. According to Tisas it does have an internal hammer.

Holy shit! Now that's what I'm talking about. I still need to get the PX9 carry because I really did like that when you did the review and the price it's not bad at all. I'll this is definitely a 5-7 I need to get my hands on, but with this stupid ass Illinois firearms band that's in place depending on the magazine capacity I won't be able to get it. By the way what is the magazine capacity? And generally it's between 20 and 22 rounds depending on which brand you get

More 5.7 guns becoming popular and available will not bring ammunition cost down unless the ammunition companies start producing more 5.7. If they produce the same amount as they’ve been producing, and the guns become more popular, the ammunition is gonna become more expensive not less.

Knowing Tisas, the trigger is probably really really good. PSA might be cheaper, but I'd buy this especially if they're thinking of metal frame like with PSA Rock Metal concept

You mentioned you also have a PSA Rock. How does the hand feel compare to that? I was very unimpressed with how the FN and Ruger offerings felt in my hand, and the M&P 5.7 ended up being disgustingly thin. The Rock on the other hand, feels absolutely fantastic in my hands. I like the controls quite a lot on this in contrast though, so I'm hoping it's good.

I don't think this one is for me. First, I don't like the weird trigger. Second, the sound it makes when you pull the slide back makes me question the quality and integrity of the engineering. To each his own. This is why there's a favorite type of gun out there for everyone.🤷

Depends. The Smith and Wesson is more traditional and hammer fired. The Tisas is striker fired. So if you are more glocky, get the tisas.

The terms "budget" & "5.7" should not be included in the same sentence IMO. The image of the firing pin from a Turkish "budget" pistol, embedded in the cheek / eyeball kinda causes one to pause. Even though the pistol was from a different Turkish manufacturer, (Girsan MC28); the image has singlehandedly soured those who are familiar with 'what could happen'. Just say'n, be careful out there.
