First Look - DeWalt Worm Drive Circular Saw Kit DCS577

Better late than never? Maybe if you're buying this saw kit used or picking it up from eBay, or if you're researching the worm drive saw itself this unboxing is for you. We've been using the saw for 7 months or so now and really like it. It functions very well and do not regret the purchase at all. If you have other DeWalt tools and do wood framing, this is worth adding to your tool arsenal.

It is not a worm drive saw. Just rear handle and lblade left like a worm drive

All the flexvolt batteries change amp hours depending on whether the tool it is in is 20v max or 60v max. 6 ah converts to a 2 ah on a 60v tool, a 9 ah converts to 3 ah, a 12 ah converts to a 4 ah, and the new 15 ah battery converts to a 5 ah battery on a 60v tool. Still, despite the lower ah rating those batteries still last really long, even the 2 ah in that saw I've been able to do over a dozen full depth rip cut through 4x6 before the battery needed to be charged and was barely warm.

@@PatrickBenoit10 I know it has the same watt hrs my point was that a 20v tool will sip the juice, a 60v tool guzzles it.

Let us know if the charger is compatible with the 60 volt battery. I believe it is a 12/20 volt charger. Thanks.

It is a 60v charger.
