Dear Elzani - I wanted to send you a message to say I am absolutely so impressed by you. I am in my 60's and have an an ED on an off since i was 12. I watched your video about the 3 month stay in hospital first and I was touched by your honesty and how determined you were even at that stage to fight back and reclaim your life. I am amazed at your determination and how you are fighting back and winning the fight. Your eyes light up and you are radiant as you push back against the ED thoughts. Your progress and your determination are inspiring to watch. Please know that you are touching lives. Even a "senior citizen" in the US is touched by you. I wish nothing but the best for you, always. Please never lose your spirit and always remember that you, Elzani, are perfect just the way you are!

I know this video is more than a year and half old, but I wanted to say some things to you. First off, I hope that your mom is doing better. Please remember that there is not a quick fix to anorexia and that the starvation that creates the anorexia is a symptom of the real issues. I hope that you will continue the counseling until you are not only healthy physically, but emotionally, and psychologically. Remember that there, as you've found are the ups and downs of this illness. Try to remember to focus on the positives. The improvements you've made, the weight gain, the ability to function, and more. You are a beautiful person inside and out.
