Tabitha Farrar is a good you tuber to watch. She is a recovery coach and an ex sufferer so it's easier to trust her than a Dr with only textbook experience !!! 🙄 It is a really scary process, but will be so worth it!! I’m currently recovering from major bowel surgery and very underweight. Eating is hard at the moment because of physical pain but watching you battle and overcome the emotional pain and extreme challenges of Anorexia is an incredible source of inspiration to me! If you like oatmeal, you can make oatmeal in the nutella (or peanut butter, cookie butter, etc.) jar when it's almost empty. This way the oatmeal soaks up all of the leftovers in the jar, and it tastes so good!!

My favourite breakfast! Put a cup of milk with two tbs of sugar add orange peel and cook until it boils, then add oats and granola. Soo good! Sometimes I put some Nutella if I'm feeling like it.

my favourite breakfast at the moment is peanut butter on toast with a sliced banana, I can't get enough of it. But in winter I usually make porridge with almond milk cooked with one pear and then I add a dollop of sunflower butter/paste. I don't like too many toppings or variety in my breakfast, I like to keep it simple.

I feel the same way too, oftentimes, when I eat a good breakfast, the rest of my day is way way better. Almost like it sets the tone for the whole day. I know it's not an excuse ! You can start eating to mental hunger anytime of the day :) Take care !

I recently discovered that I really love eating yoghurt with granola and chia seeds. First I add chia (with water), then granola as layer two and then the yoghurt. If you want to be fancy, add some blueberries and strawberries. It really tastes so so good!

For breakfast I like to have rolled oats cooked in milk with 1tbsp of cocoa powder, 1tsp of chia seeds, my fav fruit and honey! It tastes amazing😍 I can also recommend trying (unsalted) pasta with your favorite sweet yogurt, you won’t be disappointed 😂💅🏻 kinda weird but works!

The apple sauce thing isn't weird at all, my mom makes her own apple sauce every autumn and I eat bowls and bowls of it just on its own. You can eat it cold or warm, with cinnamon or without - I would live off apple sauce if I could tbh

Hey Elzani! Can’t tell you how much motivation and positivity it gives me to see you absolutely smashing it in your recovery - all that food in Cyprus looked so good! Anyway, just a suggestion (and forgive me if it’s one you’ve heard before): maybe consider switching out the 1kcal cooking spray for actual oil (and see if you can get your folks on board with this when preparing family meals too) 👍🏼. Trust me, the food cooks (and tastes) a lot better! 🤗😂 Much love to you and the Singletons! 😘 xx P.S. choc bar - fruit & nut (if you can find a dark choc version, even better) 😉 Other foods - you mentioned a while back that you wanted to try cooking with PB. I went through a MAJOR satay-style sauce kick (😂) not long ago and hit upon some really good recipes/ideas so look out for a DM of some of them soon coming your way! 🥜 Another fave is breakfast bagels: poached/fried egg, smoked salmon/bacon/sausages and avocado, with any additional fillings you fancy! If using smoked salmon, switching out the avo for cream cheese and adding cucumber, chives/red onion, capers (ooh gourmet, ha) and a squeeze of lime = 😋.

I’m from the US and the only biscoff thing I’ve ever seen is the tea/coffee dipping cookies and the only place I’ve had them was on an airplane (it’s always the free snack they pass out on my favorite airline). I like lots of chocolate bars but favourites are probably kitkat chunky, boost, double deckers and lion bars. Not as keen on Galaxy chocolate as Cadburys for big bar slabs xx new to me too as have an Ed but working on recovery and eating new foods. New M&M crispy chocolate bars are THE BEST! You inspire me to stop judging everything I put in my mouth which is what you do when you're eating disordered. 😕 It's so *hard* , but a recent event made me say, 'screw it', and I just went out and bought some "fear" vegan junk snacks and rice (yes, I've been afraid of rice for awhile due to the carbs and "empty" calories). 🙁 As for my favorite "junky" food..if I'm being honest, it would probably be anything smothered in vegan butter and syrup...so something like pancakes or French toast (something I don't have since I gave up bread some time ago, too). 😣 Otherwise, as a vegan I eat mainly whole foods (lots of lentil bowls and salads).. but I'm trying to make room for the "junk" without freaking out. You are inspiring me, Elzani. Thank you..and btw, before I became vegan, Snickers was my all time favorite chocolate bar. Now.. it's probably Chocolove bars with almonds and sea salt and Justin's dark chocolate peanut butter cups. Duncan Hines veganized fudgy brownies stuffed with double stuff Oreos is probably my favorite junky treat, although it's not technically a chocolate bar. (I heard Vego is incredible, but I can't get them here without paying a lot). 😕 Keep going, Elzani! 🙂❤️

Hi, I'm vegan too! :) I don't have an ED but support a friend who has struggled with anorexia. Which country are you in? I'm in the UK and we have Vego bars- they are really yum! It's great that Elzani's journey/videos are inspiring you and I hope you are doing well. I salivate watching your videos. The food always looks so good but I'd definatly need butter on the toast and bagel for sure, gotta love a bit of melty butter 🤤🤤 you're doing great! Xx
