The Glamlite blush was supposed to be two different shades but Glamlite was having issues with the owner of the Chucky IP in regards to color selection and they wound up just using the same shade. They apparently had a lot of issues with the Chucky IP owners for this collab.

I have super dry skin and I live in Utah. Dry!!! The Jones road products work for me on days when my dryness cannot be tamed. A lot of reviews talk about how it doesn’t dry down. For me that’s good! Because although it doesn’t dry down it glues down the flakes and my skin drinks it in. So I’m left with a wash if color without a sticky tacky face. I only use them when foundation just isn’t working.

I kinda feel like those sheer, shiny balm blushes are made for people who either don't wear foundation (applied to bare skin) or only wear a tinted sunscreen/moisturizer, tinted lip balm & maybe some brow gel. I like sheer but bright blush colors personally but I would prefer a gel formula that dries down. I really hate anything that feels tacky or sticky or greasy on my face. I was on the hunt for a foundation other than the It Cosmetics CC cream for a few years. I tried a sample of every new foundation it seems. Then I found Nars Light Reflecting foundation & I am so plzed with it. Mont Blanc is a perfect shade match for me & this foundation works flawlessly with my skincare & Josie Maran mineral spf (which has turned out to be an amazing primer as well as a good spf for rosacea) My skin is mature & normal to dry with lots of texture & redness. That foundation gives good coverage & still looks skin-like. 👍

So, I get why people dislike/complain about the jones road balms. However: it is an amazing skincare/makeup hybrid product. I use it on bare skin or lightly patted on top of blush and find that it eventually does settle and isn’t sticky on me. It plumps my skin and looks amazing!

@@liviacraftsandbooks ​ Glamlite owner posted on her IG story yesterday, the 2nd blush was approved, produced, then later denied because it had a word imprinted in it, and they didn’t have time to reorder the 2nd color pan without the word and delaying the collection past valentine’s day, which is why it launched ON valentine’s day. they tried their best.

Glamlite said that there were licensing issues that prevented them from doing 2 different blushes or a blush + highlighter combo in the one with the 2 hearts. They had originally intended for there to be 2.

I cannot wait to get the Odens Eye bundle and I’m so happy for you. Your eye look in this video makes me want to use more color. Can you do more “tutorials” on how you build a look? So often I just try to coordinate with my outfit or stick to a total neutral look with a small pop of color (aka no imagination). I never would’ve thought to use a pale yellow all over the lid AND an icy inner corner, but it’s gorgeous. Maybe show us where certain colors and/or textures should go so we can apply the concept regardless of whether we have the exact palette you are using. I have so many gorgeous colorful palettes, but I get easily intimidated and wind up using all neutrals with one small pop of color. I enjoy your content so much that your channel easily holds the #1 spot in all those I follow. Congrats again on the collab.

I have an advice if you have problems coordinating colors! Use a color palette generator, the one I use the most is the site COOLORS and it's really neat! You could discovers more color pairings you didn't think of!

The Lawless baby pink color is the same as their original “forget the filler” gloss and overnight balm. So, not pH changing but I know what you’re talking about. That Lawless gloss really does fill in all lip lines, it’s a great product. Slight strawberry smell, real not cheap. Love it.

But wait, that Kopari oil is changing the game by adding a high SPF to the product!! I am someone who NEEDS to have sunscreen on if I'm out in the sun and I'm partially not gonna be using those kind of luminizer products because it's going to possibly interfere with reapplying my SPF 60. But a shimmer oil WITH SPF 45?? You have my attention!! (Although that single shade is far from universal, I know it would look crazy on my swamp-thing pale skin so it's still not the perfect release for me... But it's a big leap forward!)

Lauren, you’re going to LOVE the cosmic brushes palettes!!! I was also there for launch and got muse, but I’ve had royal rose and Serenity for quite a while, and I’d say the quality is a lot like Blend Bunny, if it can be compared to anything. The blendability is peak, and the inspiration factor is so good - you sit down with it and looks just start popping out. I have four Jones Road Beauty Balms, depending on the time of year, I mix the colors. The newest is Miami Beach, a gorgeous shimmery light to medium peach shade. Excellent for normal to dry skin.

Lauren- I have the TF forbidden pink quad and the mattes are a cream to powder formula, they’re stunning!! Blends like no other, except Lisa Eldridge, I don’t have any formula in the 40+ palettes I own (that sounds ridiculous now that I’ve typed that out smh….) anyway this is a perfect palette for a quick one and done or throwing 2 shades on and out the door in 5 bc of how easy the mattes blend. Also, the shimmers In this formula are gorgeous, one of them is like a taupey, rose color, and the shine/shimmer in it is beautiful. Pick this up, yes it’s pricey but the cream to powder formula in TF quads is worth it imo….Lisa Eldridge also has a cream to powder formula, I’ll pay the stupid price tag for those palettes bc of this formula. Try it and please do a video, would love to hear ur thoughts on this TF palette!!!

I have the Jones Road Miracle Balm in Au Naturel that I use all over my face on days I'm just dropping my son off at school and don't need a true foundation. It seems to work well for the purposes of looking a little polished without over doing it.
