Pour some oil in your filter before you refit,and wipe some oil over all the rubber bits,new crush washer on drain bolt also.

The oil light DOES NOT disappear automatically. The dealership can clear the light for you after you change it with a simple 5 minute scan. There are also tuners you can buy that allow you to reset the light yourself.
