I have a mixer story. I was making cookies for my husband, the cookie monster. Well, he came into the house just as my old mixer was giving up. He panicked, and rushed out and bought me a new Kitchenaide stand mixer. That was almost 40 years ago and I still have the same one. I don't use it as much as I did before he passed away, but it's here when I need it. Love and prayers to you all, from NC. ❤🙏

Yes I have a story. I have 7 kids and with last 3 (twins and a single) I couldn't cope with the smell of meat, raw or cooked. If I had to walk past a butchers or a meat counter I would start heaving and if I didn't rush away I would literally be sick on the spot. My youngest is 21 tomorrow, I did used to be able to eat meat up until 10 years ago but since I smoking I can't hack the consistency for some reason, I can eat bacon but I have to have it crispy with loads of brown sauce on it. ❤❤. Xx

You are not weird because you like to be out with the animals. As a young girl I spent 90% at my neighbors horse and dairy farm. I really liked working the barn and in the fields. I hated to my bed, which was a feather bed and told mom not to make it because I had it just right. I disliked working in the house , dusting, sweeping and picking up. My mother always said I could clean a horse stall perfectly and could not be bothered cleaning the house. Statement was very true. I never learned to cook until I was married, Today I still don't like house work, but I do love to cook. So Cassie you are not weird, I sure there are a lot of us out here.

When I was a kid & later as a mom & grandma, I spent as much time as possible outdoors with my kids & animals on our mini farm. Now I live in an apartment with no animals. Some days I don't even step foot out the door. Without my animals or even a clothes line, there's no reason to go out. I really miss my animals! Especially my dogs. 😢💔

@@marydoseck6242 I lived in an apartment for 7 years, and finally moved into a house. I do have two cats that are 11 years old and a dog who is 4. They keep me going. I had the cats when I lived in the apartment but not my dog. I also raised tomatoes in containers. I am now 80 and try to garden . I wish I could walk like I did several years ago, but now my body is not as willing. You should go out the front door to at least get fresh air. Its to bad we don't live in the area, we could have some talks. Take care Mary.

Cassie, my husband and I had been married for 9 years. I began taking night classes at the local high school. I started craving Cokes, but every time I got one and drank some of it, I would immediately get sick and throw it back up. I took 3 pregnancy tests to make sure I really was pregnant. I had a new doctor on my first visit to say you're not pregnant in my office until I say you're pregnant. I never went back to that one! I had 2 daughters. Now, I have 3 grandkids. I have Tyler, Addie -aka Bonnie and Clyde and Ava Grace. God bless you all!

I like Cassie's sausage ball story. I could see that coming. 🙂 My story is, when I walked into a grocery store to grab one or two items, I walked into the produce section and immediately got sick to my stomach. The smells were overwhelming! I knew right then that I must be pregnant, and sure enough I was. My dear husband died many years ago, but I have our two wonderful daughters, now adults with children of their own (my four sweet grands!). 🥰

I too got sick with my first child. But It was different than when I got sick before. So I went to Urgent Care. My mother-in-law took me. My sister-in-law had recently terminated her pregnancy. My mother-in-law was still quite upset over that at that point. When i got to the car I said "You'll never guess what's wrong with me" I showed her the paper with the diagnosis, she jumps out of the car grabbed me in a bear hug and jumps up and down then stops suddenly looks at me with shear terror in her face and ask me if I plan to terminate it too. I said i wasn't. She so so wanted to be a "Granny" the jumping bear hug resumed. It was comical I still chuckle at the thought nearly 40 years later

Time to teach Ranger and Mazzy to cook and bake so that when they go off on thier own they can do more than "burn water"; you cant burn water but you can melt a pot a boiled dry. Drop biscuits from scratch are a good start as theybzrs inexpensive and can be rescued if burnt (cut the burned spots off) or under done (splitvopen and use microwave, broiler, or oven). They can be made by cutting in a hard fat, using melted butter, or an oil; there are recipies put there for each.

Not to be rude, but I think "pharmaceuticals" is probably a misnomer there and more scary sounding than necessary. From the Great Value Shredded Cheddar Package. CHEDDAR CHEESE (PASTEURIZED MILK, CHEESE CULTURES, SALT, ENZYMES), ANTI-CAKING BLEND (POTATO STARCH, TAPIOCA STARCH, NATAMYCIN [A NATURAL MOLD INHIBITOR])

The only thing that shredded cheese is treated with is cornstarch to prevent clumping. Not a pharmaceutical.

The covering on shredded cheese is made from trees it's a kind of floury coating to stop it sticking together,so relatively " natural" depending ofcourse on how they harvest and process it.

With 40+ yrs of Kitchenaid mixer use I suggest you use the flat beater instead of the dough hook, it'll mix better. It was behind the mixer with the stainless whip. Flat beater for most things, dough hook for kneading yeast doughs, whip for adding air like when you want meringue. That's a basic explanation for the different attachments. Blessings Jan

There's a brand of e-bike that has a toddler basket/seat on the back that might be good for Little Bear, Eldredge fam just got one that holds his 3 toddlers the twins are about LB's size. And I'm sure there are other options among the brands too! And there's a a system to transition any bike into an e-bike so ya could just buy a bike that holds a toddler seat well and use that option I'm positive that company would love to work with you if one you already have doesn't have a suitable solution!
