First start - '88 high HP build(S360)

First start of my new High HP build:
1. '88 7.3 IDI block with .020 over pistons(done back in '01 apparently).
2. Heads with IDIT valves, modified by Typ4(Russ) for more flow
3. Typ4 "Torque" cam.
4. S360 turbo with .63 exhaust housing.
5. ARP Headstuds.
It's currently sitting in front of ZF S5-42, connected with a LuK SMF clutch.

Is it ok to run a road draft instead of the cdr

Will it hurt the motor? No. However, it will smoke like the truck is on fire. That's the reason you want to keep the CDR, or find another way to route the crankcase gasses into the intake.. Ford IDIs have huge ring gaps which makes tons of blowby. It's just how they are designed.
