Listen I like Caleb and want him to succeed but Nick just needs to own the L here…Yeah, his coaching has been a disaster and the team has been horrible, yes. But he has also contributed more to their failures, and has not really shown any growth throughout the season. It seems he is just relying on his talent and not actually learning to read the game at the pro level. Lamar so is both the most talented on the field and actually sees and reads the game at a high level and that makes him special. The Bears season is clearly not all Caleb’s fault, but he for sure has some responsibility, and for that I would say his season is a failure at most or not meeting even a normal standard to be fair. Which is ok, he’s a rookie. These shows are always comparing him to Daniels or Nix and that is unfair given their situations, but what would be more fair is to compare it to Maye. Maye is in just as bad possibly worse of a situation and not winning either, but is at least showing competence and that he is mentally seeing the game. It’s also absurd the amount of miles Nick will move the goalposts for a player he likes and the miles he will move them in the polar opposite direction for the ones he does not like.

All of his comparisons are pure garbage lmao. Let's debunk all of them together, Julian First off, Peyton Manning got drafted in the 1990s. That was basically 3 decades ago and even if we go to most of Manning's prime, that was still a different era in which you could beat the hell out of offensive players lmao. They literally had to implement a Ty Law rule because Law was jamming Manning's WRs to the point where he could barely move the ball down the field in Gillette Stadium against the Patriots in that 2000s playoff game Next, he brought up Tom Brady. Outside of the BS that Patrick Mahomes is already the greatest ever before he's even 3peated (if he even does lmao), the man was drafted in the 6th Round. Not everyone even thought Brady would be a STARTER for the Patriots. He didn't start his career as a starter & also, the Patriots were a RUN HEAVY TEAM!!! The weapons for the Patriots were not amazing by any means. Caleb Williams has 3 quality WRs, a solid TE in Kmet, solid HB in Swift. Not even close And lastly, Joe Burrow? Are you serious, bruh ?! Lmao the Bengals were a 2-14 team. Just awful. They were legit #1 pick worthy. Bears weren't. Bears won 7 games & got on a little roll later in the year. They only got the #1 pick because they fleeced the Panthers basically out of that pick. The Bears had the record of a team that would be picking closer to a pick number in the double digits, not #1. Also, Burrow got injured Year 1 and didn't start all the games obviously Not to mention the obvious that no one picked these players to go to the SB year 1 and/or be elite QBs in their first years. STOP THE CAP!!! 😂😂😂 Wow, this segment was a nice Christmas stew from Nick Wright of gaslighting, capping, shell gaming, and hypocrisy. Bo Nix with less help around him, better performances, and less expectations for him gets 1,000x more crap from Nick Wright. This is a joke lmao. Dude is crashing out for a ROOKIE! 😂😂

The argument is layered, and the rings are the 1st reason. If you list off all the accolades then you can compare lets Mahomes to Allen and see why far and away whose the better qb for example. Other than that I agree with you on this one about Nick Wright

How, how do you even think this? JD would be playing a COMPLETELY different offence than he has ever done and be UTC way more, he would have the 29th ranked OL, and he would have to be learning checks at LOS. None of which he does at Washington. Like this type of comment is why fans get these crazy narratives about them. Like com’on man. We could also do this what if all day. @AxeSmashDemolition6 күн бұрын
Jayden Daniels came in NFL-ready from a mental/maturity standpoint...humble, hardworking and knowing he was going to have to earn the respect of his teammates as a leader through example. Physically, QBs like Jayden and Caleb have the physical tools to do anything on the field but that's only half the game. It's clear Jayden's mind is more adept at reading defenses (before and after the snap), making anticipatory throws, and has better pocket awareness. He makes his offensive line look a lot better than what they are because his reads/decisions are so quick. And even when his pocket breaks down, and it does often, his ability to escape is better than anyone not named Lamar Jackson. Daniels with those weapons on the Bears and his maturity/confidence would have made them a better team imo. Mentally Caleb is not there yet.

@@byronsmith3152 his issue with Purdy is that he feels like no one holds him accountable in the media or fan wise. He believes that this player gets the most excuses of anyone in the league for what he has. Really, he wants to see if Purdy can do what a Mahomes did or Josh Allen is doing now and win with no help. He sort of feels like he's the newest product of the Kyle Shanahan 49er offense that's QB friendly, sort of like the modern version of Jimmy G. He's made that comparison a lot. Now do I buy this ? No, not really. That's way too far. He's a very good QB that still has room to grow & that's ok. The only part I agree with Nick Wright at all on is I need to see more from him.
