First Thoughts: JLC Duometre Chronograph Moon

Hi Dennis. The partially open face spoils it some for me, while the price certainly does. However, being from JLC, I have no doubt that this must be an excellent example of the watchmakers art.

I normally hate open faces. This was down enough that it didn't bother me though I think solid dial would easily look better.

Yes. A solid face would do it more for me Dennis. Still, the quality will be %110, and is it really that expensive in precious metals compared to some?@@WatcheswithDennis

@@obesetuna3164 kind of. Tough because of what the value of the complications must add. In terms of precious metal in general you can get full gold bracelet watches under this so it definitely goes beyond for those who just want the metal. It may be on par for precious + the complication set... I just don't look enough at those to have a solid sense on the fairness side of things.

I love JLC watches and their quality. BUT this one is way too highly priced… in this price range there are many many better ones available.

Richemont has been really pressing up prices on their brands lately and I have noticed it the most with JLC models.
