Vantastic Adventures are heading to Europe! Join us on our first European road trip in our Auto-Trail Adventure 65 campervan and see how we get on. We will be releasing a series of videos recorded along our journey to share the experience and hopefully give you some tips for your own travels.
In this first part of the new series, we try a "Ferry Pitch", explore the local area on the South Coast of England before boarding the Euro Tunnel to France...

Looking forward to follow your journey I went on a 3,000 miles road trip by car with my family through France to Spain 6 hotels I lost count off the numerous services we stayed at finally ending up in Benidorm for a 4 day break very tiring but what an adventure 🚙

Thank you both 🥰 yes it was a great handy site for the stop over, would definitely do that again. They pulled us over only on the way out to check out gas was off, I just had to show the hob wouldn't light to confirm the gas was off and they were satisfied rather than looking under the van for the shut off etc all very simple 😁👍

Love the video guys. Did your beam benders stay on for the whole trip? I used to always lose one about a week in so now just use ordinary green decorators tape instead.

Thank you Ronnoco 🥰 They did indeed, always find they stick better with warmer headlights so usually stick them on for 10 mins before applying and clean them with santiser so they seem to stick better 👍

Thanks Aaron, it was amazing 🥰 It was really simple to manage, they just needed proof of vaccination which we downloaded from the NHS app and then uploaded 48 hours before our departure to the Eurotunnel website and that was it, no requirements for coming back to the UK 👍

Hi there, we're going to travel Europe this year. Ive got a couple of questions if you can help please. Is it worth joining the campervan and caravan club? Ive seen on some sites that its a minimum 3~5 days? Thanks

Hello 🥰 We joined the Caravan & Motorhome Club and there isn’t any minimum stays that we have come across, you can book on the app and often we will stay for a night if travelling and not usually more than 2 nights on a site so you should be fine. You get a discount on each stay plus other benefits, we find the pitches are bigger too and usually well laid out. Enjoy Europe, we are planning and can’t wait 👍

Hello Patrik, we were stopped but only for an lpg check to make sure the gas was switched off, no other checks for anything else although the 8 cars in front of us were all pulled to one side for some kind of search 👍

Yes sure it's camping Cote De Nacre in Saint Aubin Sur Mer part of the Sandaya group, they closed and refurbished this year so we couldn't stay but it reopened in July so should be quite new 🥰
