Actually, he was 14 and would send them to his brother who was deployed overseas. It was his brother that started posting them to the internet. Then he made Bo his original YT channel.

Right? I'm 39. Bo is 5 years younger than me. I remember when the internet (America Online) was seeded in the early 90s in homes. I knew people who had internet. I lived with my grandma and she never got it when I was a kid due to the house having concrete walls and getting a line installed would have been expensive because of that. 30 years later and the growth its had is... amazing and terrifying. In just three decades, we've become intertwined so much with it that we grow with it, whether we're ready or not. And if it were to fall or just disappear some day, so would we.

He’s much much more. The “Inside” special was done during the pandemic. Bo wrote, performed, filmed, edited the entire special in a one room guesthouse. Bo wrote and directed his first movie, “Eighth Grade” which won several awards. He did this during a 5 year hiatus he took when he was 25 due to having panic attacks onstage among other mental health issues. “Inside” was his first performance after taking that break. It’s overused, but he really is a genius.

I know this a while ago but his name pronounce bo burnum or atleast thats how i pronounce it and how i been pronouncing it for a long time, but he been doing songs for a while since about 16-20 maybe, his older songs are sorta sad mixed with a whole lot of humour, he was also a comedian back before he took a break for about 5-6 years, you should really check out art is dead, but also check out his whole 'inside' special on netflix probably all on youtube now, it says alot about the world as it was about 2 years ago, he made all the songs by himself in his room during quarantine, they really make u have a different perspective on the world around you. this song is sortof an intro song and it barely gets into everything he talks about

He was 16. Bo also addresses this in his song “Problematic” and in many interviews where he says he’s embarrassed by some of his very early stuff. No doubt, he is a prodigy, but at 16 some of his songs were immature and offensive. I also said they were smart, the two are not mutually exclusive in my opinion.
