The first time I heard Shirley Bassey was when she sang Goldfinger and I just couldn’t get over how good she sang this song. Today nobody sings like her. Maybe when you have the time you could play this same song by Tom Jones. He did a great job to.

Can you imagine what it was like for a boy to see Shirley? I was overwhelmed. The voice and the facial and bodily movements. To me she was so glamorous and that has stayed with me all my life. She was Welsh from Tiger Bay in Cardiff and I grew up in London..

Great reaction. I have adored Dame Shirley since i was a teenager in the 1960s. I am not alone. This is one of my favourites songs by her. Another is "This Is My Life" sang at the Royal Albert Hall. This is a performance which might leave you speechless.

Such stage presence and ability to sing and get such a rich vocal range , nobody has the total package as Shirley Bassey does , she sings with such emotion and power but with such heartfelt delivery , when I see videos of her I'm always amazed , if she can't give anyone chill bumps with her performance then they must not be breathing because there are no words that can fully describe her , a very beautiful and captivating woman , there's no one like her .
