I feel like Korn must be one of the most misunderstood bands in modern genres. Much of their lyrics invoke a sense of disgust and can turn off most listeners, but, at least to me, Korn has always been about innocence lost and internal suffering that has no proper outlet. Tragedy in life with no end in sight buried by drugs and degeneracy, only to feel greater guilt when you can't find a way out of the cycle. I've never felt like I related to any of Korn's songs, but I still feel the depth. Just my take on them, and I enjoy seeing others enjoy what I like.

25 YEAR AGO THIS WHOLE ALBUM WAS GROUND BREAKING !! I remember seeing them in on tour when this album came out. they also get a lot of there influence from 90's west coast gangster rap. that same album they did a song with Ice Cube called Children of The Corn. that whole record was a massive game charger also the album that followed that up was just just as big if not bigger of a game changer. fun fact about this band. Korn is solidly Nu-Metal, its part of the metal genre but there is sooooooooo much more. Every sub-genre has it's own sound, style and what is tries to really pull from, Nu-Metal places a heavy hand on elements from hip-hop and leans heavier into grunge elements that were big in the late 80s to early 90s.

This song is actually really deep, I primarily mean the lyrics. It is very complex and takes a certain kind of thinking.
