That was me 20 years ago back in high school and she was already 15 years into her career. Kylie is considered the Aussie Madonna for a reason. They may not be the same kind of artist but both are Icons. I was so mad back when I discovered I missed so much. I suggest Confide In Me, Come Into My World, Chocolate, All The Lovers, Did It Again and Get Outta My Way. Bonus her 80's-90's video's Better The Devil You Know, Shocked and What Do I Have To Do. There is a reason she started her singing career back in 1987 and is still going strong today 15 albums later.

I still say it is sad that she never really made it in the US. For whatever reason because when i see todays reactions of US People going Bananas about it now and wondering where she was all the time. She was always there doing great music, great concerts, great visuals.

Something about this song was very classy, very understated in a sultry, graceful way. It wasn’t the banger I think people were hoping for after the huge album era before it but it feels very Kylie. I was in that shoot, I was part of the dancers, we were 50, the recording was in Barcelona in the Olympic jumping pisconas, the filming lasted 1 week 12 hours a day, the deal with Kylie was exquisite and I have many anecdotes

oh wow.... REALLY COOL to see someone happen upon Kylie Minogue for the first time. She's an enormous success where i'm from and i've quite literally been following her for her entire career... The two Kylie videos you've seen so far are of course, Two of her greatest hits.. of which there are many, many more... What the two you've seen so far however, both really only show Kylie in her sexy/seductress persona.... She's multi faceted and i'd LOVE to see your take on a few others that show her in a vastly different light.... "Loce at First sight" - was one of the immediate follow ups from "can't can't Get You Out Of My Head" and thus, has the same "futuristic" theme and dancers - however, Kylie herself is less seductress and more celebratory... A Kylie video that is sexy - but she's not trying to be... another good choice, likely the 'ultimate' choice is "Did It Again" (1997) Kylie plays four versions of her different sides to their extremes in a battle for screen time.... it's a good (and somewhat funny - in the good way) watch.

She is so great and should be No 1 in the US as well! She is so big internationally but with the Voltaire success in Vegas this year she is well underway to be big in the US soon! Such a shame she is portrayed second fiddle to Madonna, but I think most of these artists are starting to realise she is so good! Many well known artists visited her Voltaire show including Janet Jackson and Christina Agilira. Many artists have copied Kylie over the years and as Chris Martin has said, she is 10 years ahead of her time. I personally think she is 20 years ahead. When you watch old footage from 2002 say the Fever Tour where she enters the concert fully enclosed in a space suit tailored made for her, you realise even in 2024 how advanced she is. Much like Bowie! Inspirational and trend setting! Amazing is all I can say!!! ❤❤❤❤

Kylie is truly AWESOME. Putting out massive hits since the 80's but mostly ignored by US radio so a lot of Americans remember her first hit, The Locomotion and that's about it. A few more remember Can' get you out of my head and the early 2000's (which I see you already checked out). If you want to experience a sample of Kylie through the decades, start with the Locomotion, I should be so lucky and Hand on your heart for the 1980's, Better the Devil you know , What do I have to do , Put yourself in my place and Breathe for 1990's, Spinning around, On a night like this, I believe in you and Giving you up for the 2000's, All the lovers, Timebomb, Into the blue and Stop me from falling for the 2010's and Say something and Magic for the 2020's.
