This song was written by Randy due a bad experience with migration officers. They search for drugs on his wife and 1 of his daughters daipers. This angry Randy (the american on the group) that wrote this song and requested the Mexican citizenship. Molotov is a very rebellious group who isn't afraid to speak about how corrupted the goberment is or racism or any other non PC topic. They are awesome PS. All 4 members can play any instrument at any given time ( drums, guitar or base) its like watching musical chairs

One of the members of Molotov, the drummer Randy Ebright, who is in fact a "gringo" from Michigan, has had several bad experiences entering his own country with his family. Randy has said that the US agents always go through their personal belongings at customs just because they see that his wife and daughter are latinas. It seems that a "white" guy with a "brown" family is something like a crime so they are separated and put into different lines, and then they're inspected and interrogated. Even his daughter, since the time she was a very, very young child has been inspected and interrogated by the US officials. This inspired Ebright and the rest of the band to write a song about mistreatment of immigrants in the United States. Immigrants, especially those coming from Latin American countries such as México and Venezuela, are mistreated and often turned away or even imprisoned.

They sing with an "American" accent making fun of gringos. It's a protest against racist people who shoot poor immigrants at the border. It's also a dialogue between what the American says and the "beaner's" response. On top of everything it's a history lesson.

Love your shirt! Yes, they are mexican the song speaks about the racism and xenofobia that latinos and in this case mostly mexicans suffer in the border. It has very powerful phrases speaking about all the hate and the prejudices that gringos (that is a way we mexicans call american ppl) have about mexicans and all the names they call us, the most important is the title of the song "Frijolero" thats means "Beaner". One of my favorite phrases is "Of the drugs we plant/sow you are consumers"

@@naemfield that´s on him tho, Mexican accent is the easiest to understand, why Dominican along with Chilean are the most difficult for fellow Spanish speakers. That´s why about 90% of dubbing for Latin America is done in Mexico. Lyrics and extra info Im f***n done that everyone put a hat on me. (stereotype for mexicans, using a hat like speedy gonzales character) So listen when I say "don't call me beaner". (beaner = very racist slur, mainly against illegal mexicans, but applied to all mexicans just because.) And even if some respect exists and we don't put our noses into things, we never pretend to inflate the money value by making war with other countries. We pay you our debt with interests and petroleum while we don't know, whose the one really getting rich? Even if you gave us the reputation for being distributors of the drugs we grow, you are the consumers. Don't call me gringo you f****g beaner, stay on your side of that goddamn river don't call me gringo, you beaner.(gringo is a nickname for americans, regardless their skin colour. Used by some latinos, mainly mexicans. Not a slur.) Don't call me "beaner" Mr. fucking pain-in-the-ass! I will scare the sh*t out of you for being racist and an asshole, don't call me a "beaner" fu***g gringo puñetero. (this bad word can be translated as motherf****) Now I wish I had a dime for every single time I've gotten stared down for being in the wrong side of town. And a rich man I'd be if I had that kind of chips, lately I wanna smack the mouths of these racists. You might imagine yourself, being a Mexican crossing the border, thinking of your family while you cross, leaving behind everything you know. If you had to dig out the bullets from a couple of gringo ranchers, would you still say "good for nothing wetback?" (wetback, another very racist slur) if you had to start from zero? Now why don't you look down to where your feet is planted, that U.S. soil that makes you take shit for granted, if not for Santa Ana, just to let you know, that where your feet are planted would be Mexico. correct! (Santa Ana was a mexican president who was accused for signing and agreement to President Polk to grant (stole) California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Utah and Wyoming) Don't call me gringo you f****g beaner, stay on your side of that goddamn river don't call me gringo you beaner.

Think of beans or 'frijoles' as a little bit the equivalent for cotton for your comunity, that's why 'beanner' is a derrogatory and really bad word for mexicans and honestly a lot of latin americans because, it's said to people that looks like 'mexicans' and to be honest, we know a lot of US citizens don't differentiate us.

Here are the lyrics translated to English: I'm already fed up that they give me nicknames Listen then when I say don't call me beaner (frijolero) And although there is some respect and we don't stick our nose we never inflate the currency Making war on other countries We pay you with oil And interest our debt meanwhile we don't know Who gets the profits Even if they make us famous as sellers of the drug we plant, you are consumers. Don't call me gringo you f**kin beaner Stay on your side Of that godd**n river Don't call me gringo you beaner don't call me beaner mr motherf**ker I'll scarethe sh*t out of you For being a racist and a**hole don't call me beaner F**king gringo motherf**ker Now I wish I had a dime For every single time I've gotten stared down For being in the wrong side of town And a rich man I'd be If I had that kind of chips Lately I wanna smack the mouths Of these racists You can imagine yourself from the outside, Being a Mexican crossing the border Thinking of your family as you pass Leaving everything you know behind If you had to dodge the bullets Of a few gringo ranchers Will you keep saying them good for nothing wetback? If you had to start from scratch Now why don't you look down To where your feet are planted That u.s. soil that makes you take shit for granted If not for santa ana, just to let you know That where your feet are planted would be Mexico Correct!

Gringo is not derogatory, that's how we call americans but it also works for any english speaking foreigner, specially the fair skinned light colored eyes type.

It's hard to play this as a white guy. People look at me like, "Ok.....this guy likes calling Mexican people beaners so much he jams out to this song" If you have to explain it, you probably shouldn't play it. I learned that the hard way 😂

in many reactions that I have seen, people think that the guy with the bombs, the money and the flowers is Bush, but no, that character is called Vicente Fox and he was the president of Mexico at the time, the song is from 2003

Ironically, all americans that react to this song, are in shock for the chorus, and for how they call beaner and gringo eachother, but when they heard the part about santana selling part of our country, they just have no words, they dont even talk about it. 😂

¿Ponemos al vato en contexto? This song was wrote by a american guy named Randy Ebright who came to live in México because his father used to be a fed agent. He married a mexican girl and once Randy and his family were discriminated by custom agentes who judged them just for being mexicanos. So he wrote a little present for USA

🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽

Randy is North American, and he was discriminated against. not exactly if his 3-year-old daughter in international crisis to usa, and that's why I write that song. tried to undress his daughter in immigration just because his wife is Mexican.
