This song just scratches the surface of how talented Prince was. He wrote songs like One of Us and Nothing Compares to You. He had dozens of albums. Tje love symbol album and The Gold Experience are some of his best works imo. 3 Chains O Gold is probably his best song imo.

Recommend long format / extended version videos for ‘Cream’, ‘Sexy MF’, and ‘When Doves Cry’. I recommend because they are sexy, all different sounds / genres. Cream is pop, Sexy MF is a mixture of Jazz and Hip Hop and When Doves Cry is R&B. Though his Royal Badness Nicknamed is well earned. He was always very clever with his lyrics and it still feels like art. His concert footage is even better.

@@wayneblanchard4635 FYi there's never an agreement on what his "best" years are in the Prince fandom. Prince's best years commercially were certainly the 80's & 90's but i personally love all era's of Prince but i never play his hits too much. I'm usually playing his deep cuts like "Revelations" "Question of u" etc. I personally do not think his best years were the 80's though. Prince later in his career created some of the most beautiful instrumental compositions, classical piano work, he was an incredible pianist, he was a fantastic rapper, dancer, producer, engineer, song writer, multi instrumentalist & and elite lyricist. This song is only the tip of the ice berg when it comes to his amazing lyrics. Especially when you realize that "little red corvette" is being used a euphemism lol. He was very clever lyrically. He was also his own genre. Has Metal classics, R&B classic, pop classics, country classics, hip hop classics, classical classics. The man was truly the greatest imo, your prince journey will be full of surprises lol.
