This passionate powerful black music brought us whites and blacks together in our schools, in our neighborhoods. There was no racial tensions when we were all listening to the same music. It was a long time ago, 70's/80's but there were no white clubs or black clubs. We were all partying together.
@donnawoods8039

@Karen B I lived on the border of Philadelphia and our neighborhoods were mixed. I even lived in an all black neighborhood (with one other white family) and there were no problems. This is back in the 70's and 80's. We would all sit on our front stoops of our row homes and listen to music and eat soul food. It was fun.

We did have the backyard barbecues, roller skating, and house parties. It’s great that you’re getting exposed to our different types of music which plays a major role in our culture! Keep having fun!!😘❤️

13K new subscribers in the last 5 hours ? What's happening here guys ? I'll tell you why. He we have two young, handsome and smart Black men who are getting a complete music history lesson for themselves while bringing so much joy to the rest of us. I subscribed earlier tonight and am on my 5th hour of binge watching. I'm a 64 year old white dude and would like to thank you both for your positivity and openess to watching so many genres of music and enjoying them. It's an education, isn't it ? Best wishes from Las Vegas. I predict 1M subs by the end of the month.
