Henning May is the 2nd singer with the deep raspy fabulous voice. His Band ANNENMAYKANTEREIT was in the 1st room. They started 12 yrs ago as a street band in Germany. They have great covers of COME TOGETHER, ROXANNE, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN'S I'M ON FIRE, NEIL YOUNG'S THE NEEDLE AND THE DAMA😮GE DONE, CRY ME RIVER, A DUET WITH NATALIE FINDLEY OF VALERIE ND some all ready. Mentioned in comments. THE HAVE ORIGINAL SONGS IN GERMAN AND NOW FILL HUGE ARENAS IN EUROPE. SOME OF THEIR GREAT ORIGINAL SONGS IN ENGLISH are: WAITING, LEAVIN, SOMEDAY SOMEWHERE, DONT SAY A WORD, ONE DAY AND YOUR DOOR (the drummer S. Kantereit plays a percussion instrument called a kahone &their guest plays a steel drum both with their hands) I KNOW YOU WILL LIKE EVERY ONE OF THESE SONGS.) I THINK JENNING Mys voice is the best since the 90s when Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilot and the singer for the BAND "LIVE" I IMMEDISTELY BOUGHT THROWING COPPER CD.

Annenmaykantereit has an original called Sometimes I Like To Lie and it's amazing!

The song is a cover of Suzanne Vega's Tom's Diner (1987). This is a collaboration of two German bands: In the first room AnnenMayKantereit are playing and Henning May (deep raspy voice) is their singer. And in the second room Giant Rooks are playing, Frederik Rabe is their singer. A little later AnnenMayKantereit join them. AMK does mostly German songs, Henning can also sing without that rasp, his voice is amazing, but I like Frederiks voice even more. Giant Rooks do English songs, even though they are Germans as well. One reason why I love Frederiks voice is their cover of Life On Mars (David Bowie): kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZ2seGp3mthqeq8. And my favorite original song of Giant Rooks is Nightingales Of The Walled City: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aqaYoYOwdtZjn5I . It is a live performance because they haven't released it.
