BABYMETAL's activities have been worldwide since 2014. In the world tours started in June 2019 through March 2020 (until the pandemic started), they performed 55 times on stage in 14 countries (mainly in USA, Europe and Japan) Please continue to explore BABYMETAL.

Great reaction and thanks for the English subtitles. You will find that every BABYMETAL song is different, but they are always high energy and top quality performances. Their full shows are huge productions now (when they started they had no budget and played in tiny venues with a capacity of 150-250 people - they have grown over their 10 years and from the small beginnings they have gone on to sell out Tokyo Dome - 55,000 people - two nights running). The early shows did tell a story - this particular show was the last stage in their transformation from a sub-unit of a Jpop Idol group to becoming an independent band in their own right. It was also all about the lead singer changing from the Jpop Idol Suzuka Nakamoto to giving up that life and her human existence to be reborn as the Metal Goddess Su-metal. You would need to see the opening ceremony ('Ave Maria' with the 'Night of 15 Headbanger Remix') and the show finale 'BABYMETAL Death' to see how that all happened - and to see how the statue played it's part in the show.

Excelente reacción, gracias! Esta actuación es del concierto "Legend 1997 SU-METAL seitan sai" que viene a ser la fiesta del 16 cumpleaños de la cantante principal, Suzuka Nakamoto o SU-METAL. Y es un concierto totalmente loco por muchos motivos. Este fue el tercer de los bises de un total de cinco con la Kami Band (que así se llama la banda de apoyo) en directo. A partir de ese momento se convirtieron en permanentes hasta la fecha. No es una alineación fija pero suelen ser siempre los mismos integrantes: Takayoshi Ohmura, Leda Cygnus, ISAO y Mikio Fujioka (RIP) en las guitarras, BOH al bajo de 6 cuerdas y Hideki Aoyama a la batería. Estos se conocen como "kamis" del este. En 2019 se añadió una segunda banda de apoyo para los conciertos en Europa y los USA, aunque también tocaron a principios de 2020 en Japón, formada por: C.J. Masciantonio y Chris Kelly a las guitarras, Clint Tustin al bajo y el increíble Anthony Barone a la batería. Las chicas en este video son la ya mencionada Suzuka Nakamoto aka (SU-METAL) como cantante principal, Yui Mizuno (YUIMETAL) y Moa Kikuchi (MOAMETAL) como coristas y bailarinas. Yui tuvo que dejar el grupo en 2018 debido a problemas de salud indeterminados y desde el 2019 cubren el lugar de Yui con una de tres chicas denominadas Avengers que se alternan cada concierto o incluso cada pocas canciones en los conciertos de tipo arena. Lo cierto es que hacen un trabajo increíble, con un nivel de energía fuera de lo normal y hacen que el público reaccione de esa manera. @@JuanRuiz-nx3wn Eso estuvo muy bueno!! Andy Copping, el organizador / promotor del Download Festival dijo en 2014 en Twitter (literalmente): "There's a time & a place for Baby Metal. Each to their own but Download Festival is not it" ("Hay un momento y un lugar para BabyMetal. A cada uno lo suyo, pero el Download Festival no lo es"). DragonForce tuvieron los santos c*jones de invitarlas y meterlas dentro de su "time slot" ante la estupefacción de Copping y compañía. La reacción del público fue impresionante y el éxito fue brutal. Al año siguiente no tuvo mas remedio que contratarlas y actuaron en 2016 en el escenario principal. No suelo recomendar videos de "fancams" y mucho menos "Gimme Chocolate" dado que es una canción "complicada" de asimilar a menos que ya estés en una fase avanzada de "adaptación" al concepto de BABYMETAL. Sobretodo para gente que, como yo, venimos de escuchar metal digamos... "normal" toda la vida. Saludos!

three out of the four musicians in this video are the kami band members you’ll mostly see! BOH, the bassist, is the only bassist that’s played with them, but that drummer and the guitarist on the right usually play with them as well. takayoshi ohurma is the guitarist that usually plays in the spot next to the drums. those four fit in so well with the girls

Glad you liked it! BABYMETAL's roots are in a J-Pop group called "Sakura Gakuin". They decided to try fusing J-Pop with Metal to make Metal more accessible to a broader audience. So there are few songs that one would consider "pure" Metal. You will almost always find some poppy, catchy hooks, but you'll also find influences of other genres like Reggae, Ska, Hip Hop, EDM, Dubstep... You'd think these combinations wouldn't work, but somehow they make it work perfectly. And as you have seen, the unusual (for Metal) addition of choreographed dancing makes it even more entertaining. To me they are simply the most entertaining band ever.

@@1noobymedio that entire concert 'Legend of 1997' is on KZbin but as individual songs. If you Google the setlist you can find all the songs on KZbin. It's a great concert but it's very early in their career. The later ones are bigger and more technical. Also 'Metrock 2015' is on Dailymotion. That is a fantastic short concert. It has the best crowd shots. Obviously it's blocked on KZbin so you can't make a reaction to it that includes the video. Or if you go to the BABYMETAL reddit there is a spreadsheet with links to every pro shot concert ever and you can watch them all. If you do that I recommend Tokyo Dome. Or let me know if you want this entire concert. I'll link the songs in order for you with KZbin links that you can react to.

As mentioned elsewhere, she was just 16 at this time. If you want to watch full concerts, you unfortunately won't be able to do it in this format on KZbin, as it will be blocked. Gran reacción chicos!! Este concierto construye muchas de las bases de la historia/lore que cuenta Babymetal. Babymetal nace como una sub unidad de un grupo idol llamado Sakura Gakuin con temática escolar donde se gradúan al llegar a los 15 años, este concierto representa que Babymetal pasa a ser su propia cosa dejando de lado su alma mater Sakura Gakuin ya que un par de meses antes Suzuka Nakamoto la vocalista principal se graduo de SG(Moa y Yui siguieron en SG). Sumetal siempre a cantado en vivo pero para la banda el 95% de las veces antes de este concierto usaban pistas (no había presupuesto :S ), en este concierto poco a poco pasan de usar pistas, bailarines y todo un show mas pop, abajo te dejaron el inicio de este show :P, a algo mas tradicional pero sin perder su lado idol y kawaii y muy pesado a la vez jeje. este concierto tiene un cierre que pueden reaccionar que se llama "BABYMETAL Death", tambien les dejaron un comentario de lo que dice al inicio del video para que se den una idea de que trata, kzbin.info/www/bejne/oIPGapeYnM51hqs

Maes, buena reaccion, gracias. Con BM tienen para divertirse, tiene muchas buenas canciones para seguidores del Rock/Metal. BM hoy esta formado por Su (cantante principal, 23a en la actualidad) y Moa (21a,una de las chicas frente a Su y que tienen un baile mas energetico, y hacen coros/armonias). La otra bailarina en este video, Yui, dejo la banda, y su puesto ahora es ocupado por un grupo de bailarinas de soporte que rotan dependiendo de disponibilidad. En todos los conciertos en vivo BM es soportado por un los Kami Band, una banda de musicos de primerisimo nivel de Japon. Hay un grupo core que esta en la mayoria de conciertos, pero dependiendo de disponibilidad, a veces pueden haber otro musico sustituto.

Como cuando vas por las reacciones mas actuales apolando al fandom de Babymetal y ves una reacción de Costarricenses, nunca me lo imagine, pensé que era de los pocos que le dieron bola a la banda. Babymetal es un grupo espectacular con una mezcla perfecta entre la Kami-Band (El metal) y ellas 3 (El pop). Tanto la formación de las 3 como de la banda cambio por varios sucesos a lo largo de estos últimos años, les recomiendo ver la "An Unhelpful Guide to Babymetal" si quieren conocer mas sobre la banda y las 3 cantantes además de todo el lore que hay detrás de las canciones, coreografías, simbolismos.... Y como canciones recomendaría hacer Sis Anger, Syncooation, Rondo of Nightmare, Megitsune, Road of Resistance (Tiene mas copy que todo Yt junto asi que deben tapar el video) o si quieren que les vuele la mente de golpe hacer Tales of The Destinies, todas estas son mejor verlas en su versión Live (compilaciones) porque puedes disfrutar mas a la banda de fondo aunque algunas no están tan bien hechas visualmente.

Si quieren ver como inicia/termina un show de babymetal, les recomiendo ver Babymetal Death. Y si quieren ver interacción del público , vean Babymetal Road of Resistance. Por otra parte, la banda que toca con ellas se llama Kamy band. y tocan con ellas cuando hacen conciertos en asia. cuando vienen por estos continentes tocan con la Western Kamy band. Todos son músicos excelentes.

Rondó of nightmare canción con intro de la kamiband (así es como es llamada a la banda que toca el instrumental) empezaron con la banda solo eran músicos de Japón y recientemente tienen la misma banda japonesa y ahora una de Estados unidos que son con las que tocan en ocasiones para sus giras fuera de Japón

El Leyend 1997 es un concierto para celebrar los 16 años de la diosa Su-metal 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻.. la canción habla de una chica que cumple 15 años y va a su primer concierto de metal ( en el vídeo oficial, ella usa un collarín, asiendo referencia a Yoshiki baterísta de X JAPAN) En la parte que levanta el micrófono ella dice"todos los aburridos" y el público contesta "váyanse de aquí"

Some advice about BABYMETAL reactions: tl;dr: Don't use compilations for BABYMETAL, we have a better solution. Please don't rely solely on videos that are on KZbin (mainly compilations); they're not meant to be used for reactions as the mix of concerts and generally bad editing can make it confusing for those new to BABYMETAL. Also, you won't get the full BABYMETAL experience with these. Some people think they are safer for reactions, but they're not. They may get past the bot initially, but you still stand the chance of your video being blocked later and the possibility of having copyright strikes. Some fans made a selection of "best" performances for each song; I would suggest using it for future BABYMETAL reactions. The only young ones in the band are the singers/dancers. All the members of the instrumental section are probably old enough to be their dads who are veteran, insanely skilled players. I love the instrumentals... wish they had different set of singers sometimes. But I guess the vocal mismatch is one of the band's charm isn't it?
