Yet another fantastic video thanks Sreten. I recommend doing an E34 M5 suspension upgrade to the E32. It truly does make a huge difference for the better. I found out the hard way about the tie rod ends, after ruining one. Yes I'm a slow learner. The aircon didn't work in mine which was a bitch in an Australian summer and getting parts for it wasn't an easy thing either. Another huge improvement for me, which I saw yours has, is Michelin rubber all around. With mine whenever I spoke to people on the phone (hands-free of course) they didn't even realise I was in a car driving.

@michaelroloff28043 жыл бұрын
You already know that your videos are looking for their own kind on the net ... Thank you for this extremely entertaining content! 👍😃Since the E34 and E32 share large parts of the drive train and the axles, the same sensitivity to vibrations is always achieved with both models the front axle to the fore. More than 30 years ago there were several "actions" by BMW to remedy this. One of the main problems lies in rel. fast-wearing silent bushings for the struts. This manifests itself on the one hand in a spongy feeling of the steering behavior and is very often accompanied by massive vibrations of the front axle! Fortunately, it is often enough to just replace these silent bushings. And if you want to further improve the steering behavior, you can replace these with PU bushings, which then do their job reliably and almost indestructible.

@@M539Restorations Oh, I didn't know that about BMW. But if you really want to stick to the original, you'd better stick to the aluminum ones. About that tie rod end: I usually just use hammer to moderately hit it, so that the bolt stick into that steering arm hole due friction. The nut finishes the job, as it multiplies the friction along when tightened.
