After Wukong and his team protected their master to the designated location in the West, they were granted the title by the Heavenly Court, but Wukong did not like too many regulations there, so Wukong ran back to his home. The Heavenly Court did not trust his loyalty and sent troops to suppress his home. This is the beginning of the prologue of the game you see. During his battle, he changed into a bird, but fell from the sky. This is because long before he was granted the title by the Heavenly Court, Wukong had a restriction circle on his forehead, and he had a headache to obey the master's discipline. After being granted the title by the Heavenly Court, Wukong asked to cancel the restriction circle, but the Heavenly Court deceived him. The restriction circle has always been on Wukong's head. After Wukong failed, the old monkey said that collecting all the six relics left by Wukong might be able to revive Wukong. my favorite fun fact: at one point in wukongs story he saw the monkey's of his mountain dying from old age and it saddened him. At some point he was brought to hell where instead of them killing him he wreaked havoc down there until he was granted his way so that he'd stop beating them senseless... He went to the book of death and erased his name and the names of all the monkeys on his mountain. The results were that all the monkey's on his mountain could no longer die from a natural death and stopped aging although their offspring could still age and die normally.

@ lol why you salty, all I’m saying it y’all should pay attention to the game and it’s story so you can appreciate it and comment on your experiences in the game as u go so your chat should solely be there to give you tips or suggestions not ur primary focus ,if you wanna talk to chat that’s fine but least pause the game or talk when it’s not a cut scene. It’s not being quiet when you are commenting about the game while playing it. You don’t need to thank or talk to chat every few mintues cuz we watch ur videos to immerse ourselves with u and the game as you play. I don’t mean to come out as disrespectful or rude but while gaming especially story base games Chat should only be there to give you tips or advice when you miss things, if you focus too much on your chat it’s hard for us that wasn’t live to enjoy ur video. This is a what-if Sequel to the Journey to the West Novel written by someone named Wu Chen En (some dispute this) and published in 1592, it is regarded by the Chinese as one of the Four Great Classics of Chinese literatures and Four Great 'Controvesial' Books. 4 Classics is Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Water Margin, Journey to the West and Dream of Red Chambers. 4 Controvesial Books: Romance of Three Kingdoms, Water Margin, Journey to the West and Jin Ping Mei (This is supposed to be an ancient lewd book of sorts) And yes, I know '奇' may not necessarily tranlsates well into Controversial, but they were pretty much banned due to their underlying controvesial tones, so that's what I'm calling them. The devs of Black Myth Wukong use a darker interpretation of the JTTW to create this sequel. So you can find snippets of messed up crap that's going on throughout the game showing you how Sun Wukong eventually got sicked of all the shit happening all over the place and wanted out of the bullshit

Based on the ancient old novel and mimic to the the famous 1986 Journey to the West series. This game plot what happening after Wukong and his crew have delivered the Buddha Sculpture to the West for redemption for their wrongdoings. Wukong return to his mountain but the Celestial Court want to continue controlling him and Wukong rebel against it

The Japan author used Sun Wukong as reference to create another figure called Goku, but they are totally different stories. The story of "Dragon Ball" has nothing to do with "The Journey to The West" written in 400 years ago.
