I've recommended LiLaSi's Dimash guide before, but she also has an amazing 3-part mini-series in a similar format that focuses on moments of him singing acapella, improvising, playing instruments, etc, that you'll probably like. I don't think copyright should be much of an issue for those videos either, and it doesn't really spoil any songs as far as I can tell.

If we check other versions that Dimash sings of this song (which he wrote when he was younger), we can see a melisma or other very beautiful variations in this part of the "whistle". Here, singing on an open stage and with some discomfort in the return (we can see it several times by adjusting the headphones) we realize, in this specific part of the song, that he is going to do something and, not being able to do what he would like (Perhaps the interference of the audience or the inaccurate response of the sound, a fact that impaired his concentration), he then issued this wonderful and historic C#8 modulated to D8, with vibrato! In a more technical analysis, we can see that the notes sound dissonant, as they do not belong to the harmonic field of the tonality of the music. Still, it's a demo of technique! He must have instantly thought, "Since I couldn't do what I wanted, I'll improvise!" So he emitted the inconceivable, supernatural D8 (4698.64 Hz)! Of course, this is a joke to me, but it makes one wonder: What is Dimash's limit?

I've listened to a lot of other artists, including the artists you mentioned. Yes, they are all good singers, but no one can compete with Dimash's preternatural abilities and what he is able to transmit to me. I literally have to listen to him every day. I believe that many of the people who say that he is technically skilled but does not provide emotions usually have ulterior motives (jealousy, likes another artist, etc.). However, for the vast majority of reactors, one of the first things they comment about Dimash is how much emotion and passion he puts into his performances.

Vitas started that mic wave technique many years ago when he was singing his hit Opera 2. It was Vitas's signature move until the time came when he stopped singing it live and mimed to a pre-recorded version. I have seen Vitas performing Opera 2 several times now and he doesn't use that mic waving anymore. Other than Dimash, I haven't seen anyone else do it. When he was learning it for competitions Dimash would have watched Vitas perform the song over and over and seen that move. He probably though it was a good idea and copied it. I expect Vitas did it to show that he was singing live and prove to his detractors that he really could sing that high. It's an unusual move and it's showy. There are people who continue to say Dimash sings songs pre-recorded. I disagree, but I don't know for sure. There might be pressures on him on certain TV shows or stage performances that force him to mime - pressures that we don't know about. Anyway, sometimes when he does something spectacular and other times when he simply feels like doing it, he does the mic wave.

Dimash wrote this song when he was 19 years old and the lyrics were written by Oral Baissengir, of course in Kazakh. This performance was in Kazakhstan (Gakku TV is a Kazakh television channel. I heard there were about 150,000 spectators and the city center had to be completely closed). There he hit his highest note so far, his famous D8. You don't need to look for this note on the piano, the keys weren't enough for that anymore. Some say the tone isn't exactly pleasing to the ear, but it doesn't make it any less spectacular. Sometimes he has to do that depending on the show he's singing on. Some shows don’t allow live performances. But I heard that in Russia he is secretly considered a freak because he usually insists on singing live. But he doesn't do that wave as often anymore. I think because he doesn't have to prove anything anymore. However, he sings a lot with a different microphone technique, so he can't use a headset microphone either. Otherwise the ears of the audience would probably fly off🤯😅. He controls the volume of his voice by either holding the microphone close to his mouth or moving it away. Hello, many times when singing, Dimash shakes the microphone quickly 🎤 and it looks good. He brings it to his mouth and quickly removes it several times. The effect it creates looks good, but in my humble opinion, it started doing it because with the voice it has, many youtubers and people when you show them the video and they tell you that that is not possible and that it is probably Autotune... and it does to demonstrate that there is no autotune, it is live. I don’t agree! He just do it differently! He listens and listens again those parts. His comments are plenty of what others are lack of: knowledge about music and probably he created his own channel to contribute with what he can offer! And what Aaron is offering us is much more than what other reactors are able to: (just listen, so not a “big” scontribution actually!). I do not think we have to be that picky with reactor in this matter! Let them guide their channels the way they want! No necessary to be that intrusive, but if you are, no need to use the plural. Maybe yours, is not everybody’s opinion! I do not pretend to offend anybody, I just have a different opinion!
