They are all talented ! Seeing their live and solo performances shows their abilities ! 2010 in Japan, Korean Invasion occurred by their coming to Japan like ’British Invasion' of The Beatles . I was all about rock and classic music until then , but they changed me 😁 I think you can see that the juniors of K-pop groups respect you when you watch and listen to more songs ! Later, add , 'The Boys' was made by Teddy Riley who made songs of Michael Jackson and other musician in 2011 and this song has Korean , English and Japanese three version !

The remaining 8 members have just celebrated their 15th year anniversary last Aug 2022. 😄 So Nyu Shi Dae (SNSD) was very well known in S.Korea and Asia during the 2nd Generation of Kpop. They pioneered a lot of things including empowering girl groups at a time when boy group dominated the era. SNSD is also considered as "Idols of Idols" and "The Textbook of Girl Group" because of how many famous 3rd gen members looks up to them. 😎 Into The New World is one of the most iconic debut song in Kpop - to the point that it became like an "unofficial or 2nd national anthem of S.Korea". It's been used in a protest rally as a unifying song, and new girl groups usually do a cover of this to determine if they are debut ready. Of course, most of SNSD songs are really outdated by today's music. 🥲 If you're looking for views, it will be a little difficult since most of their fans (SONE) are already mature and busy with their lives (business and family). There are still some loyal fans who watch SNSD's MVs and YT reactions whenever they have time. However, if you wanted to check a group of talented, beautiful and crazy/chaotic female idols.. then you're on the right path. Into the new world is one of if not the most important song. It's pretty much like the second national anthem of south Korea. It's literally a requirement for all female idols and trainees to know this song. That's how huge it is

Girls' Generation -- also known as SNSD, which is the acronym for the words that mean Girls' Generation in Korean -- debuted in 2007, so this year was their 15th anniversary. SNSD are known for having some of the best vocals and dancers in the industry. As an SM Entertainment group it shouldn't be a surprise that they are such great singers and dancers. That is just what you should expect from SM groups. :D SM Entertainment is considered the vocal powerhouse of the industry and the company is known for putting a huge emphasis on finding and cultivating some of the best vocalists in Kpop. You literally can't be an SM artist without having amazing singing and dance skills. Even SM's rappers get intense training as vocalists, so all of the company's artists are amazing singers. As you discovered, SNSD don't just have a cute concept, but with most of their other songs they are sexy and fierce. They are different than most other Kpop girl groups. They are all super gorgeous -- all known for their beautiful image -- and yet very girl next door-like and very relatable. They are legends in the industry for a reason. SNSD are "the nation's girl group" and considered queens for a reason. :D They are the girl group, that most other girl groups who came after them are modeled after. "Into the New World" was SNSD's debut song from 2007 and it is one of the most iconic girl group debut songs of all time. This is the girl group song that pretty much all female trainees are required to learn. "Mr. Mr." was released in 2014 and it's about a guy who has "heart disease" and isn't brave enough to tell the girl he likes how he feels, so the SNSD members perform "surgery" on him and help him find the confidence to heal his heart and be honest about his feelings, etc. Girls' Generation also has an English version of "The Boys." This song was part of their American debut in 2011 and it was included on their English album that was designed specifically for the American market. Jessica and Krystal were one of the first -- and for a long time, only -- siblings to both be under the same Kpop company and in separate equally popular groups.

Girls Generation is considered one of the 2nd Generation girl groups (or most probably all the Girl Groups in general) who has the most powerful Vocal line. Having 2 Main Vocalists (Taeyeon and Jessica) and 3 great Lead Vocalists (Sunny, Tiffany and Seohyun).

Thank you for checking out these legendary girls! One thing that's for sure about SNSD is they definitely took some risks with their music and sound. They explored and slayed soooo many concepts from hard/aggressive, to dark, to bubblegum/cute, to beautiful amazing ballads, to retro, to electropop and more. I hope you find some songs from them that you like! If you prefer a more modern kpop sound (that still has that SNSD flair and amazing vocals), definitely check out their latest title track "Forever1." Ty so much. First girl group to perform on US TV. Also won song of the year and album of the year in Korea for the last song. No other girl group did as much as GG for girl groups. They debuted in 2007 and put out album after 15 years this year. Album is a must listen. TTS sub unit of GG is perfection. Won multiple awards including Song of Year at Seoul Music awards and Album of the year, Holler. Best vocals and Harmonies. Winter Story, TTS and Cater to You are famous as well. Ohhhh Into The New World holds such a good and nostalgic sentiment!! The girls recently sang this song and all of them burst into tears. This is a special song for them! Thank u for reacting to them. Girls Generation is still the Queens of KPOP despite being in the industry for 15 years!! Their vocals are top notch. They all have really good personalities. Them and EXO both come from the same company: SM Entertainment. Fun fact: Taeyeon (GG Leader) and EXO's Main Vocalist Baekhyun used to be in a romantic relationship. 🧡🧡

SNSD/Girls' Generation concept is VARIETY. Every come back is different. 😎 Actually, some fans like SNSD for their Talents (vocals and dance choreo), other for their Visuals, but I belong to those that like SNSD mostly because of their Chaotic Fun Energy. 😂 There's a new 2022 Funny SNSD compilation by ohwoowoo. Video title is 'it's been 15 years and snsd is still snsd (forever 1 era funny moments)'. I hope you can check and react to it. 🙏

Into the New World was their debut song, and is the representative girl group debut song. Girl groups now still do covers of it. I would say The Boys is kinda an outlier from their usual sound, but it was very popular especially since there were versions promoted in other languages too (like an English version). Mister Mister is definitely the closest to their most common style of music, so I would definitely recommend next Holiday, Gee, Genie, & Lion Heart. Also the girl who stood out to you was the leader, Taeyeon, and she has a very very successful solo career as well 💗

Thanks for the reaction! There is a whole world of content to explore with Girls' Generation and the members and I'm looking forward to more from you. Since you enjoyed 'Mr. Mr.' you might want to check out 'Catch Me If You Can' next, but you can't go wrong with any of the MVs. That being said, their vocals are the strongest asset and live performances showcase them better than the MVs. There are many, many examples you can find, but 'Karma Butterfly' from the 3rd Japan tour is a unique highlight. In addition, the leader Taeyeon (pink haired girl belting out high notes in 'The Boys') has a 7 year solo career with tons of great music. For something contemporary, 'INVU' is her latest title track from 2022.

You "like details"? Here's some: The KZbin views for the ITNW MV are misleading. The original was posted in 2007, but was taken down by SM because of some technical reason and then re-uploaded in 2011, so 4 years of views were deleted in the process. The piano phrase at the beginning of ITNW ( and carried throughout the song) is note for note (but with a different tempo) from Antonin Dvorak's Symphony #9 ( oh look~~there are 9 members!) from 1893, titled "The New World". Choreography "easy to learn"? The MV shows 27 seconds of the group choreo ( most of that in 1-second clips, half of them focused on one member) and Hyoyeon's 9 second dance break. The song and choreo is 4m 20s, and apart from the dance-break, the choreo is continuous with big complex movements and multiple formation changes, including where the lead singer, Taeyeon, has to circle from center to the back and then forward again 3 times to deliver the high notes, and then has to RUN BACKWARDS, on the beat, to a new spot in the middle of one side of the v-formation. All this has to be done while singing continuously of course. It's definitely NOT "easy to learn" and perform which is why every other agency used ITNW to determine if their 3rd Generation Girl Groups ( of which there were dozens, because of SNSD's example) were 'debut ready'. ITNW was a 'respectable' success at the time, but it gained a new lease of life in 2016 when students at Ewha Women's College protesting against the corrupt admissions practices of the school administration spontaneously sang it as their 'solidarity anthem' as they faced-off against more than a hundred police. It was used again in Thailand, in protests against government corruption there, in demonstrations for social and legal equality for women and for gays. It was sung during the "Pink Pussy Hat" Women's March against Donald Trump in the US, and in 2021 it was sung in celebration of Korea's Supreme Court decision to decriminalize abortion. For the past 25-ish years, the K-Pop industry has held the "Dream Concert'..an all-agency, all-star concert. At the closing of the concert, all the singers and groups together walk the stage to say goodbye to the fans and to take final bows, while everyone sings along to a beloved folk song that dates back a couple of hundred years, called "Arirang'. At the closing of the 2019 Dream Concert, "Arirang' was replaced by "Into The New World"...and SNSD weren't even at the concert! Of course there's no way you can comprehend the impact and significance of SNSD from watching a handful of MVs, or even from watching all of them ( they have something like 50 MVs). They weren't 'just' the most commercially successful and artistically rewarded Girl Group over the 2nd and 3rd K-Pop 'generations', they were ( and still are) much more than that. SNSD are cultural icons and literal ambassadors of Korea to the world. They've earned many grand titles over the years, but since about 2014 they are probably most commonly described simply as "The Legendary SNSD", because that's what they truly are, and K-Pop wouldn't be the global success it is now, if SNSD hadn't led the way. After a five year hiatus where the 8 members (Jessica departed the group in 2014) have been engaged in various solo activities, they just had a comeback this August ( their debut anniversary month) with Forever 1 ( single and album) which is of course, worth a listen/look. There's also 6 other full albums you can check out, and on top of those, their live concert tours which are 'something-else' entirely. There's no-one better in live performance.

Fun fact mr mr original mv were missing that is why its kind of cheap mv At that time 2ne1 on purpose releasing their song at the same times even delay their release too when snsd delay theirs to make another mv. But eventually SNSD won almost all awards
