@robertmolton67612 жыл бұрын
I thought the exact same thing. Breaking Benjamin have been rockin this formula for years. It's good to see it still works today. It's a timeless sound imo, having the perfect balance between melody and mayhem and I love it. Btw, we need more Breaking Ben reactions. They don't seem to get the credit they deserve.

Chris has made major improvements in his vocals over the last few years. Even on stage I can tell the difference. And they still have angsty angry songs too, this is just one of the more chill ones 🤣. We all have an angsty teenager in us somewhere lol. Interesting to hear in the song that they switch to the major key for their chorus.

The first song that I heard from them and still one of my favorites is Eternally Yours. You can hear a little bit more of Chris's screams in that one and his very good "blegh" but also a lot of clean parts so it's a very good combination of everything.

You should definitely check out their other new song , “Cyberhex” it has all of the aggression and angst that you’re looking for. Both great songs for different reasons though.
@whichwasher20072 жыл бұрын
The band dose take inspiration from alot of artists. I feel like every song they do. They take inspiration from 1 band for that one song and make it their own. Masterpiece - breaking Benjamin. Cyberhex - (modern) papa roach. Chris's voice and Benjamin burley voices are very similar. So much so that when I heard this song I thought 'new breaking Benjamin song'. And that is how I've got into motionless in white very quickly.
@aidanmaley89052 жыл бұрын
I just got into Motionless in White after I heard their last song Cyberhex and ever since I've gone through their whole discography and had it on repeat for the last month! They are one of my new favourite bands for sure! I have so many favourites but Disguise, Thoughts and Prayers, Holding on to Smoke, Reincarnate and Eternally Yours are probably in my top 5!

This is the first song I heard from "Motionless in White", I love this song. The way you describe them reminds me of Ronnie Radke from "Falling in Reverse", which I believe is the most talented man in the music industry. He puts more emotion in his songs, lyrically and vocally than any other artist. His videos are second to none, he has a beautiful voice, and he can Rap, Rock, Growl, or sing a Ballad. Most of the time he mixes genres in a song. I'd like to start you off with the song "The Drug In Me Is Reimagined" which is a remake of a song he wrote and released in 2011 called "The Drug In Me Is you". I would say react to both in the same video so you see what changes he did. Also, Ronnie does reactions to KZbinrs reacting to him, so you don't have to worry about copyright strikes, Ronnie loves when his videos get reacted to. Here's the link. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eGPGk5uPns11jbs

If you loved this one you gotta try out Eternally Yours, Another Life and as they hit similar kinda structure! For something different to this and probably closer to what you remember, Break the Cycle, Death March and Holding On To Smoke all are fantastic. Also for something incredibly different listen to Wasp, that'll really make you think differently about them also! In addition to all of the above, I think my favourites are probably Another Life, Contemptress, Final Dictvm and Catharsis. I've listened to MIW all the way from their first EP's to now and they're the band I've stuck with the most so I could go on forever! But definitely check out some of those ones, any would be a good choice.
