Anthony Warlow is an actual trained Opera singer, so goes to show yet again, the diversity of John Farnhams voice can lend itself to any genre. This came from a tour that John had with Anthony and Oliva Newton John.

This toured for 3 months. It was funny and beautiful, I know people that bought tickets to two or three more shows after seeing this once. Anthony stars in all of our top stage musicals and Olivia and John toured with him after he finished some tough cancer treatment. They are three very special people who really care and they all got to battle cancer. Watch John and Olivia sing Please Don’t Ask Me. At this concert if you want some beautiful. I have never heard John sing a genre he cannot master naturally and I have heard him sing serious Opera. He is called the voice for a reason. Thank you.

The whole premise of this act is that John Farnham, coming from a rock / pop background can be versatile enough to learn opera, which is Anthony Warlow’s background, ie: opera / Broadway. The humour was thrown in for the act. Later on in the concert, they do a reverse act where John teaches Anthony how to perform rock.

The Full concert called The Main Event is free on KZbin with John Farnham, Olivia Newton-John, and Anthony Warlow Serious, Funny, fantastic concert. John and Anthony fight over Olivia during a song. The 3 mix and match and sing solos too. So much laughter and amazing singing by our Aussie Trio.

Anthony's a legend of Australian musical theatre and has also performed on Broadway. He was our first Phantom and has a list of shows too many to mention. He is a lyric baritone. John of course is our much loved national treasure who could sing the phone book and make it sound good. He switches music genres effortlessly with mind blowing performances. Rock, jazz, ballads and yes even some opera, you name it and he'll sing it. He is the GOAT.❤

John did this concert with Anthony and Olivia Newton John when both had just recovered from cancer, and was proving to them they were both better than before and had just none of their skills, in fact they were both better than before you should have allowed it to continue as there are some good comedy sketches during this concert,the three of them together are brilliant.

From a tour featuring our beautiful Olivia Newton John John Farnham and Anthony Warlow, Anthony is not only a fantastic Opera Singer he is a beautiful gentleman in all sense of the word. They blended several duets and trios into the shows as well as solo performances. My wife and I attended a Sydney show and it was brilliant and will stay with us forever. I am sure a duet from the same concert by Olivia and John was previewed here called Please Don't Ask Me" now we have lost our beautiful "Livy" RIP Olivia and TY sweet lady for the music. Anthony was brilliant in Phantom. His next gig here in Melbourne is Chicago which I will be booking. He played Daddy Warbucks in Annie on Broadway. As for John well what can you say except he can sing anything ❤

Anthony is an exceptional opera singer and John can sing any genre. Both are also very funny blokes, and both have battled cancer like their friend, Olivia Newton John, who was also in this 'Main Event' production

Proof John Farnham’s voice is so epic and versatile he really can sing anything, any genre. Anthony warlow is a trained opera singer but John can hold his own in this awesome performance. John Farnham is one of, if not the greatest male vocalist of all time, and also a great all round performer.

John can sing anything but is verh humble. When the producers said he should sing opera (knowing he would kill it) he probably only agreed if they made it a bit of slapstick comedy. He didn't want to be seen as a "showoff". Mind you you can sing rock, pop, blues, swing, power Ballard's you name it!!

Anthony is an opera singer but he can mimick other characters extremely well. The character from a British comedy, Some Mothers Do Have Them is his favourite. You will have to watch a couple of episodes to have a full understanding. Anthony had throat cancer, beat it but haven't heard of him in years.

I wouldn’t even go far as to label it comedy as it makes it sound like it’s planned- this is just two Aussies being Aussie.. both have a great sense of humour so yeh they’re definitely very funny - they’re just messing around and having a great time! Stick John next to a classically trained opera singer and he sings opera! Stick him next to a soul singer he’ll give you soul. Stick him next to a jazz singer, you’ll get jazz. He’s a musical chameleon.

Australian Anthony Warlow is a trained opera singer but is well-known in Australia for his musical theatre career .Please react to his heart-wrenchingly beautiful, ''This Is The Moment' ( from the musical, Jekkyl and Hyde) from the same concert. Anthony was chosen from thousands of singer applicants from around the world to make a recording of it. John Farnham is a very funny man as you will see in parts of his concerts. He can sing in over 20 genres and is a genius of a singer. This performance is a bit of a piss-take of themselves singing opera in a good-hearted way.

Great reaction both blend well together. Another great song from this show is john with the late Olivia Newton John called please dont ask me. John was in a comedy show way back and could have been a stand up comedian. Another great song is Gethesmanefrom Jesus Christ Superstar John sings.
