Serving as a spin-off of The Boys by Kripke, and based on The Boys comic book story arc "We Gotta Go Now" by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The series stars Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, and Shelley Conn in main roles. At the Godolkin University School of Crimefighting, founded by Thomas Godolkin, young adult superheroes ("supes") put their moral boundaries to the test by competing for the university's top ranking and a chance to join The Seven, Vought International's elite superhero team.

At first, I wasn't going to watch, then the first 3 episodes I knocked out the day they came out. I'm really looking forward to y'all reactions for the rest of the season.

Emma is no innocent; she just has a different slant on things that doesn't immediately come across as "slimy". It's a vought school training the kids in the way the pro heroes are in the Boys. No surprises that the corporate, metric centered viewpoint is forefront. Parents aren't evil. Vought would have sold them on lie promising a better future for their child if they allow the super drug. The missguided parents seeking the best. Of course some more crass than others but the majority just wanting to give their kids that extra help in life. Unfortunately the reality turned out different and now many have to manage it the best they can.

I feel like emma keeps throwing up when she's feeling down because she wants to disappear. There's just usually a point where fear and selfpreservation makes her stop. But that point moves further away the worse she gets.

They are really highlighting the curse that comes with power here. Everyone is being used and abused, just trying their best to survive. They are not even safe from their own powers 😢

All of your faces reacting to the dumb director teaching the acting class made me laugh so hard! and the Metallica cover is done by Phoebe Bridgers and is a great version. definitely sets the tone for the dark stuff going on underneath the show that Vought and the school put on

I agree with you guys about Emma. She’s a very likable character, and she gets taken advantage of entirely too often. That being said, wait until you see what happens later on. I won’t spoil anything. Just be warned, it gets intense later on. Also, I mentioned it before, but I’ll say it again. It’s almost entirely agreed upon, at least as far as I can tell, that Emma is probably the best character of this show, which I agree with.

When you’re watching AoT..If it’s possible, make sure to watch the BluRay versions.Overall it’s a more polished version than the TV/Streaming version. Also make sure to watch the 3 essential OVAs! AND be aware that the Openings of each season/part do SPOILER A LOT..!

I second this 1000%. Watch the OVAs, and if possible watch the subbed version. It’s to their preference but the subbed is definitely a lot more intense and emotionally moving. Omygod I’m so excited, they are in for a WILD ride🐎
