My daughter had her driver's test in the spring. She practiced so much on her parallel parking. She wiped right into the spot at her test so perfectly and fast. The lady was in complete amazement. Shed never had anyone be able to so easily and perfect. Which saved her because when she had to back into the space it didn't go so well. She forgot about the backup camera and just tried using the mirrors 🤷.

Nice estate sale in a pretty neat old property not that far from the Delaware River. I think that 180 k is a fair price though the house needs a lot of restoration work. Was it worth waiting nearly two and a half hours ? Definitely yes, because you got the time to read a great book, you created some more content and got a couple of interesting items. 👍My favorite was the old oil lamp with the sheep on it, bummer that the glass tube was missing. By the way, Renée: another package from Europe to Bloomsbury went on it´s way today, hope the content will meet your demands. 😉Quite hot today over here (nearly 90 degrees F, but we are expecting more rain tomorrow). 🌦Have a wonderful and relaxing New Jersey weekend ! Greets from GER, U.

I agree - being able to sit outside, in the quiet except for the sound of birds, and enjoy a good book was worth it! I didn’t get to see the bathroom at this place, so wonder how much work that would need… perhaps it had a claw foot tub, my favorite! It would be a perfect little getaway cottage or just a great little home, in general. Attic & basement offer plenty of storage & possible work space and the yard is like a little oasis! I’ll be on the lookout for your package!l! What could it be, what could it be?? No hints!

03:40 I honestly hope that was just a spelter bird. Looks like the good stuff was all in the attic on this one. THe parallel parking thing isn't my bag either. Local stone curbs have eaten multiple tires so I try not to mess with it, but I always get there early too (mobility issues so I have to mark close) and sometimes watch the parking shenanigans.

Hey Ms Moose, I heard a rumor that Jesus might be found in other places than a birdhouse - just saying. You need to talk to Tacco Stacks because at the flea market sale recently where we see the Totes Man, he walked right past a picture of Jesus without stopping - so he needs a talking to and some hep ( a lot like help but more intense). So love your adventures and even if you and Tacco are at the same sale its like one video is from Mars and the other is from Venus with your different perspectives. Your videos are so entertaining and make the day go better.

Hi - nice finds. Can you salvage the frame around the woman-in-the-hat photo? Maybe a little stain or Formby's? I'll bet you that the love and relationship book, or whatever it is, is going to be a scream. Like, "The Road to Wellville." I think that lamp is the bottom half to a Hurricane Lamp - also called a "Gone-with-the-Wind" lamp.Could have started life as an oil lamp or electric. If electric, there would have been three switch positions - top shade lit - lower part lit - both lit. You probably know this already. It would be easy to wire one bulb back in it - not sure how to do the 3X switch. Probably had a 10" fitter (rail) that was mounted on the burner or socket to hold the upper shade. You can still buy those (fitters). Finding a matching upper shade would be a miracle, but you can buy new colored glass shades that would go with it. I know all this because I bought something like that a few years ago and now have a Frankenlamp on my office desk. Hope you do well with what you've bought. Have a great Friday & weekend! Say a prayer for Maui and anywhere else that's burning ... or flooding ...or just too darn hot.
@PaperandMoose Жыл бұрын
Another viewer also mentioned how finding the matching top to the lamp would be near impossible. I can just imagine the next time I go to the flea market & have it out on the table, someone will say “Oh my gosh! This matches the top to that lamp I have stored away in the attic!” At least I think that would be great if that happens, you just never know! Me re-wire something electrical? That’s a no 😆 I’ll save that for the professionals & take out the risk of me hurting myself haha. Hope you have a great weekend! Maybe a few estate sales?

I have done the same thing, getting to a sale very early, when I knew there was limited parking. I can't imagine how the owners were able to function in that house if all of that stuff that was outside was inside the house before the sale. That being said, I love those kind of sales! It was worth it if the things you bought are things you enjoy. When you get to be the very first person in, go for the unusual first and leave the ordinary for last.
