Please please do an episode on the changes you made to allow you to keep having children with good health! When you mentioned that you knew things would have to change if you were to have more after #4, I felt the exact same way. I've had 3 and my health has progressively declined. What routines do you have in place, what is your exercise like, supplements, etc. How are you staying healthy? Id love to have more babies. I'm not particularly overweight but I've lost a ton of muscle and my teeth have been bothering me. Thanks ❤

I didn't understand God's desire and plan for us, but I've share with my daughter why God's design is best. She is now a newly married woman and they plan to homeschool their children. I was very suspicious after the episode topics lately. 😏 Congratulations! And awhile back I heard a pastor say "Couples are EXPECTING a child; they're not both pregnant" and now I can't unhear it, lol. It's good to raise your children in communities where large, intact families are the norm. We need godly married couples having all the babies!

Some women get their cycle back faster ( my sister in law did) and it could also be that Katie sleep trains so her babies sleep for long periods from a young age and that can definitely bring a cycle back quicker!

Congratulations! I second the requests for a video specifically about all of the things you do to maintain your health and have more children. I’ve struggled with terrible nausea and vomiting both pregnancies that I’ve had to be medicated for and have now had two emergency c-sections. I want more children, but I’m concerned about my health and my ability to care for the children I already have while pregnant.

Yes, I'd like to hear that too. I don't mind telling them how a baby is born but how it got in there...?? When my kiddos were really little I would tell them God created the baby and put it in my tummy. But when theyre a bit older i need to tell them more....how???

I'm 36 years old and 24 weeks with my 4th and it is also my easiest as far as weight gain, nausea, energy, etc. I credit extra activity and more whole foods (we switched to a homesteading lifestyle between babies 2 and 3). I've had 5 pregnancies in 5 years (one loss), and all symptoms have eased up except for my varicose veins. They're chronic, worsening with each pregnancy, and we have yet to find a treatment or surgery than can fix them. Due to this, I'm really sad thinking that this could be my last pregnancy. I always wanted a big family and envisioned more than 4 kids. I'm praying for a way to have more though!

I had stab phlebectomy done on my legs for my veins and it's helped so much! ❤ I don't know how severe yours are or how much placement and such matters but I hope you find a solution. Bad veins are the pits.😢

Yayyy congratulations ❤ and I agree with what you said in regards to morning sickness. Less carbs helps so much. I also found exercise and outdoors to be the best cure. Last thing you want to do is exercise, but it’s the single best thing to help nausea. X

Katie, have you ever looked into the blood type diet? I started it before this last pregnancy and had zero symptoms, especially no neasau, that i was so scared I'm miscarrying because that was how it was with my miscarriage. I'm holding my healthy baby right now. If you're struggling with neasau this can really help. I didn't follow it fully just limited some of the food that was on the bad list and saw such a difference

I so much enjoy your conversations! I find they help me think though topics from angles I wouldn't think of on my own and also bring many aspects to Biblical perspectives I hadn't considered. I very much appreciate that about your podcast. I am using it along with many other good sources in learning how to navigate the grandparent role to my long awaited 1-year-old grandson in the best way I can. My only child is 35 and she and my son-in-law just renewed their license to adopt a second baby. (My husband and I were never able to conceive/carry again after her birth and he was born with inability to produce seed.) I am their primary child care as well as future homeschooling and absolutely thrive in this role. I pray my health continues as long as they need me!

"Why should we wait?" There are so many reasons to wait and in the long run, they just do not matter that much. We have some pretty large gaps between some of our children and if we could go back, we would absolutely not wait so long. We love the smaller age gaps even when life was hard and crazy. ❤️ So thrilled for you guys!
