Many years ago my home demonstration taught a group to make this. I made a fruit tree. I didn’t have a mold or cookie cutter. She said talk to the dough as you mold with hands. We melted crayons in soup cans and dipped the fruit in the melted crayons. For my peach i used 2 colors and carefully dipped to make a pink peachy color after i made the peach shape.

Its not hard enough from inside, l can feel that. Can you please tell me what to do to make a lot of already made dough usable. Thanks.
@FirstDayofHome3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ivana. If the dough is too sticky, try adding more flour. In different locations, sometimes humidity (or lack of humidity) can make the dough stickier or drier. Usually adding more flour helps with stickiness.

Yes! After drying, you can apply one layer of Mod Podge, let it dry, then print out a picture the size you want. Apply another layer of Mod Podge on the ornament once the first layer dries and place your printed picture on top. Make sure you have punched a hole in the picture as well to line up with the ornament. Then apply one more thin layer of Mod Podge over the picture. If you want to use an actual photo, I’d just glue it on with hot glue or foam tape but not use Mod Podge.
