My husband and I have been watching your show for a long time. We really enjoy your content. In this video you had used cotton balls with petroleum jelly to start a fire. Great idea. Another idea for a fire starter is to collect the lint from your dryer and pack it into the holders of an egg carton. Once you have each compartment filled you can pour melted paraffin wax over each of the 12 or 6 egg holders. let it set up. you can cut or tear them apart and carry in a zip lock bag. Place one under your kindling and light. They have worked great for us camping etc. Thank you for such an interesting and fun channel.

Spent almost 20 years in the woods of the northeast. Short pants, long pants, spring, summer, fall, and winter. I just do a tick check on myself on my legs every 20-30 minutes or so. Never had a problem

Very similar to my inch bag setup. Get an amok hammock and eno fly if you wanna be extra fancy. I always hang my square tarp across the long way, corners on corners, to stay dry in heavy rain. I put the fire pit too close and use my wool blanket over the Ridgeline to keep the smoke out and I can poke my feet right out into the fire.

You need a federal waterfowl stamp to hunt geese or ducks and in most states they have rules for what gage shotgun and shot size ( steel shot ) etc etc. Love your videos and keep them coming 👍

Hey bro pro tip on hammock camping attach the tarp right where the hammock line attaches to the tree i bring little carabiners to hook into the little metal holes on the hammock or tent fly, it works better if you attach the hammock to trees that are closer together so that your tarp can stretch all the way across, also if you are having trouble sleeping because of the bowing in the hammock offset your insulating pad like twisting it so that your feet are on one side and your head is on the other lengthwise not widthwise and that will help flatten out your sleeping position

Always bring water and stay hydrated. If you want something that burns great and last long you should try fatwood it’s one of my favorite and it’s free, pine trees has a lot of sap in the wood as they heal and it’s great for fire starter. Stay safe and stay dry.

One thing you could try for keeping your rain fly tighter in the wind and less likely to get the hammock wet in conditions like that is put your cordage through all the bungs in the tarp and do corner to corner on the tarp above hammock tie points instead of square like you had it.
