If bba is growing you have too much light and/or nutrients. I would check the nitrate levels and cut your photo period to ~6 hours a day. Also make sure it's not getting direct sunlight. Lastly, amano shrimp eat bba. Might want to throw a few in your tank if you can pick some up.

@b1oh16 ай бұрын
@@audrisampson try using something like seachem prime when you do water changes and try to keep your nitrates under 20-40 ppm. Worked at a pet shop and an axolotl someone brought in was impacted with gravel. We put in the fridge for a lil over a week and it passed the gravel and made a full recovery and started feeding again. Obviously we cared for it daily, and it wasn’t in a fridge that we use for food or anything😂😂all this to say is that what they were doing in the beginning is very wrong. You should not get a pet axolotl if you’re not willing to spend the money to get a chiller, or have a basement or some other cold room to keep them cool constantly. Not a beginner pet whatsoever😂😂

Edit: Definitely agree about betta fish. 5 gallons is the minimum, 10 is ideal, anything *less* than 5 gallons is *less than the bare minimum* (You take 10 gallons and that’s the ideal.
