Your fishing videos are the best and I enjoy them and this is why: 1. You don't swear on your videos 2. You are so full of life and excitement especially when you catch a fish. In which makes your videos enjoyable to watch. 3. You are very informative in explaining what bait you are using. 4. You are very polite to others; when the police ou DNR came on one episode and informed you that you could not fish in that spot; you were polite to them and respected them.

Thanks for another great video. I started fishing again last year after taking about a 30 year break. I haven't caught a lot of fish the last two years, and I have been discouraged with Southern Illinois fishing. But your videos show me I've been going to the wrong places. Your videos are very inspiring and I'm going to start hitting the local spillways. I recognize a few of the ones you have been featured. Hopefully I'll see you out there. I'd love to fish with you. Hit that river spot with some bigger crank baits, drift jig a minnow, or fish a drop shot if there are 'Eyes and Sauger there. I'd probably try to hit it three times a year until you get the feel of how fish transition there. A couple times in the spring, a couple in the summer, and a couple in the fall and then target in on the bite window that is most productive of you like the best. That or really get it figured out and then try to really get the other seasons on point too. I do have to ask what exactly in this river was a "GIANT Natural SPILLWAY" The one spillway you did fish is clearly man-made and the other location was an eddy behind another man-made structure.

I've fished there every year for the last 25 years or so. It's a great bass fishery. It has a slot limit. You can only keep fish that are under 14 inches or over 18 inches. This keeps the breeders safe and makes for lots of smaller fish that are the best size to eat. This lake is also loaded with red ear sunfish, blue gills, crappie, and channel cats.

It must cost you a lot for your fishing license and all your extra rods. In Colorado they only allow us one extra pole and it’s $10 for that sticker. What does it run for you? And what state are you in?
@Bobrohde65 жыл бұрын
In Illinois its $14.50 a year for a resident fishing license. You are allowed to fish with 2 poles at the same time. You can have as many as you want to carry. The only add ons here are a trout stamp, which used to be about as much as the license cost. You only need the stamp if you fish the landlocked trout and salmon in and around Lake Michigan.
