The more I see underwater footage like this the more I want to go with smaller floats and baits for less overall bulk for pompano.

Nice!. But it seems to me that putting the float further from the bait would be more effective. There's no doubt that first fish missed the hook up because of the float being in the way. But I learned something from watch this posting. Thanks
