Fishing on the Beach & in the Lagoons - Trip to Mayaro - Trinidad, Caribbean
A couple weeks ago, we had our annual family trip to Mayaro, where as much of the family that can make it up, come together for a couple days to have some fun on the beach...
Of course, once there is water...fun for me...involves fishing...So after spending a couple hours enjoying the beach, playing cricket, digging holes, flying a drone...We did a lil exploring and caught a few fish...
It is always fun when you are with the crew and the fishing part always tops it off...

Thanks bro! That use to be my go to spot! Caught a lot of fish there a couple years ago...Snapper, Snook & Tarpon...But last couple of years fishing there has been tough...I think there is some agricultural run-off that kinda killed the fishing there...Still give it a try now and then...The drone footage was epic...good piloting skills!

Lovely video Kos!!!! specially loving the drone footage mate..if you want to target some larger GT....try to find some rocky outcrops which have deeper water and strong current. any surface poppers will do the job...you will hook much lager GT's. keep up the awesome videos...

I would love to target some larger Jack Crevalles (we don't have GTs in our part of the world)...But accessing some of the areas are not that easy...I will be doing a lot more exploring this year...So we will see how it goes! Hey it depends on where you are fishing...For inshore...I have had a lot of success on artificials like the DOA Cals & Yozuri Crystal Minnow...Live Mullet is always a good option...And shrimp and squid always catches a few small fish...
