Love that spot some great fishing .. awesome fishing ...great video Tight Lines like your catch and cooks also ..question have you caught any Gars in the bay ? I was kayaking around cold pass one guy passed by me in a jon boat said "Did you see a big Gar around ?" I said no "didnt know they came this far" . I will. keep my eye out but didnt see any giant Gar they where hunting for .

FYI........ don't not get caught without repellent at the dike. Just leave 30 minutes to an hour before the "real bite" starts at dusk.

speaking of beat up fish i saw something incredible and haunting not too long ago, about a month ago, nightfishing at a friend’s private pier. And my other friend was standing on the right of the pier and said all of a sudden, holy crap what is that?! It was a black drum surfacing at the pier! But it was completely ghostly white, really really freaky looking, it was swimming very slowly, seemingly diseased or on the verge of death. And we don’t get black drums at this pier. Could possibly have also been a diseased bull red. But i tell you it was freaky looking. Haunting! Literally ghostly. It had the shape of a bull black drum but was completely pale ugly white. One of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen while fishing. And I haven’t seen very many weird things while fishing.
