As for track time, I believe both Nissan and Porsche. The car was known to be slower on Bridgestones than Dunlops (even though you had to pay extra to get the Bridgestones) and you could put 2 brand new GT-Rs next to each other and there could well be a 100hp difference between them. The engines were handbuilt, so that's what you get.

This is a car that made Porsche, Lamborghini and Ferrari so jealous and sh*t on their pants with a half of their's price tag, a car that a huge reason for nowadays cars technology and performance, a supercar (according to Nissan) that sold over 40,000 units worldwide and still on sale (which is crazy for a supercar), a car that set Guinness world records in both straight line acceleration and drifting, a car that conquered the Nürburgring, a car that dominant the Super GT, FIA GT1, FIA GT3 and etc, and there's lot more things to mention. So I think it's deserve the "Godzilla" name for sure.

As someone that's owned one for over two years now if you can deal with squeaky brakes and a noisey transmission than makes you think your car is on the verge of breaking Everytime you put it in reverse then it will be one of the funniest cars you'll own 🤷 . Add an armytrix exhaust and you're good to go

I owned a 2018 GTR for a year and didn’t quite like it. (No hate) Here’s why I love tracking my cars and just about everyone assumes the GTR is good to track out of the box, not so true 2017+ has the exhaust flap (to make the exhaust quieter) that failed 2x on me and each of those valves cost $9k Canadian dollars to replace. Since the exhaust on the GTR is a lot hotter than most cars, it probably fry the valves electronics especially on track and makes the ecu think it might be closed. The car gets on limp mode if I have longer than 10min hot sessions then I have to pit in and clear code and cool the car down. You have to change your coolant to mostly distilled water to keep your temps reasonable on track. Factory coolant will make your fluids run very hot and that means you’ll have to replace them in a few thousand KM according to Nissan specs (sucks when you’ll have to do diff and trans fluid that often) Factory tires I assume was good since it’s 200 tread wear but it wasn’t. mid corner telemetry shows it is 10km/h slower than my mazdaspeed3 with Dunlop direzza z2. What made me got ride of it is it is not as engaging to drive compared to speed3 and mx5 plus major reliability issues on track. It’s hard for people to understand but the GTR is an exhilarating car, but not as fun for me. There are positives about the car but it just didn’t work out for me
