Just curious…You speak of “the brain wants” does that mean the brain has its mind/heart of its own? I thought the brain is just the brain, a container with high tech bio wires and storage space. So where does a thougt originate from? Is a thought a reaction/result of consiously or unconciously using our senses? I smell see or hear therefore I think? Thinking can be stating statements, observations but also questions. Questions bring movement, evolving. Statement/observations are new and old beliefs. Memories. So a question is also a thought. Why does the brain starts questioning? Because it “is programmed” like that? By who? Mattel?(😅sorry couldn’t help myself🙊) No but I’m seriously trying to “get my head around this” and if its not programmed who gives directions to the brain then? Is it relying on our input? Does the observer in me gives input to the brain? Is this the rewiring part? And the input i am giving the brain is creating a pathway between a thought that results in a pleasant feeling in the body. So if you speak of ‘the mind wants…or the mind grabs…I get a little confused. Interesting material✨😊 Another thought… you speak of the brain holds on to thoughts that are not beneficial to us. Why does it do that? Because you also say that it loves being busy making connections between good feelings and the correlating thought. Another thought pops up.. Some one who gets good feelings by killing or thinking about killing someone. Those people have programmed theirselves that pain or discomfort feelings are “good” And they belueve in their program too, therefore they will not stop killing. I thinknI’mngoing too far down this rabbit hole… I will stick to the liberatingvthought that I am able to rearrange rewire my brain in a way that I can experience more ease and peace in my body mind and soul. Can we say that the brain produces thoughts and the oberver thinks and interprets the thoughts? Because the brain itself is “just” the container right?

Yes, just as the heart beats, the lungs breathe, the brain thinks. It all happens on autopilot. The rewiring occurs when you learn to have that space between the thought and "you." In that space, you can consciously choose how to proceed.
